The One With Ross's Tan - S10-E3

Corrected entry: Why do Rachel and Joey have to ask Chandler what it was like for him and Monica going from "friends to...more than that," when Rachel already has first hand experience with that exact situation, with Ross? While Ross was always interested in Rachel, so never had a radical shift to cope with, Rachel only viewed Ross as a close friend until she found out his feelings.

DavidK93

Correction: It's true that Rachel already went through this experience as is mentioned earlier in the episode but she always knew Ross had a crush on her as she said in the very first episode. Rachel is just asking how it was for Chandler because things are working out very differently for her and Joey compared to her and Ross so she doesn't know which one is "normal". She's just asking for advice so I don't see any mistake.

The One with the Candy Hearts - S1-E14

Corrected entry: In this episode Ross wants to go and ask Kristen on a date, so Chandler and Joey give him an egg and tell him to return it to her. When he comes back and says and she said yes,he kind of wiggles his fingers around and we see that they are empty, but when he hugs Chandler he says that he still has the egg in his hand. Did it just magically appear out of nowhere?

Correction: When Ross comes back and says he got the date, Chandler hugs him and we hear a cracking noise. Chandler asks "Still got the egg?" and Ross nods. No one says anything about a hand because it's not in his hand - it's in his coat pocket.

Myridon

Correction: We see Janine pick up the towel but then the shot switches to Joey and she has enough time to put it down again before we see it on the counter.

tw_stuart

Correction: Yes it's a fake but there was never any attempt to make it look real - the blood spray is over the top too. It's just another aspect of the scene's silliness.

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the earlier episodes there was always a window that the friends had to go through to get to Monica's balcony, but toward the end the friends walk off the balcony instead of climbing out of it, eg. when Rachel is saying goodbye to Joey in one of the final episodes.

Correction: Monica may have had the wall rebuild into a doorway since it would be more efficient than a window. Even though we never get to see this we may assume that the characters do stuff between each episode. Like having carpenters work in their apartments.

Correction: She can't stand anything near her open eye but she has her eyes closed when Ross is applying the eyeshadow.

Correction: The cap is behind the bottle so we cannot see it from the side. When we see the table from Joey's viewpoint, it's visible.

The One In Massapequa - S8-E18

Corrected entry: In the one with Ross and Monica's parents' 35th wedding anniversary, when the parents are talking to Ross and Rachel, there is a picture of the parents in the background, in exactly the same location, wearing exactly the same clothes. That photo would have had to be taken, printed, and blown up in the last hour. (00:05:40)

Correction: Not out of the question. At my prom last year we had our photographs taken as we arrived and then they were available (ie, printed) to buy not much later on in the evening. I imagine that if this is possible, so is the provision of an enlarged version. Added to that, Jack and Judy could very likely have been at the function early, sorting things out, and had the pictures taken then - they would have been wearing the same clothes, and the photographs could have been printed even before the guests arrived.

He's My Brother

Correction: Joey is Chandler's best friend, he's trying to be supportive. Even if he remembers his comment from before he will also remember that Chandler denied it, and he doesn't want to repeat his mistake.

tw_stuart

Correction: In the first shot it is not clear that Noah Wyle's head is in the way. If George Clooney passed the phone straight to Monica then he would hit him. In the next shot it is clear that he passes the phone while avoiding him which is why he appears initially to be passing it to Rachel.

The One with the Dozen Lasagnas - S1-E12

Corrected entry: In the one where Joey and Chandler buy a foosball table, Monica and Ross come over to play. The score as the blue team and are on the right hand side of the table. When the credits are rolling, Monica is playing against Joey and Chandler again. She is on the left hand side of the table but scores as the blue team again.

Correction: Look carefully, she scores as the red team. No mistake.

Show generally

Corrected entry: During one of the Las Vegas episodes Phoebe insinuates that she has been married in Vegas before. We know she divorced Duncan, the gay ice dancer, but we never hear mention of her divorcing this mystery man she supposedly married in Vegas. In season 10 she marries Mike Hannigan, so this would be an illegal marriage and make Pheebs a bigamist.

Correction: She might have gotten a divorce immediately once she found out that Las Vegas marriages are for real.

The One Where Paul's The Man - S6-E22

Corrected entry: When Paul enters his bedroom and Ross is behind the door, Ross hesitates and then snakes under the bed while Paul is distracted. However, Paul is looking at the mirror in the corner, which faces back towards the door, so he should have seen Ross standing there.

Correction: The mirror is not in the corner but more importantly, Ross has already snaked under the bed before Paul really starts to look in the mirror.

The Last One (2) - S10-E20

Corrected entry: In the final episode, Monica and Chandler take home the twins almost immediately after Erica has them. No hospital in the United States would ever allow newborn babies to go home the day they are born. Even the most healthy babies are required to stay at least 24 hours at the hospital.

Correction: This isn't necessarily true. My friend gave birth at 8.30pm and went home with the baby at 11.30 that same night. She said you just need to ask to leave.

The One Where The Stripper Cries - S10-E11

Corrected entry: Fair enough that in TOW The Flashback Rachel doesn't remember Chandler if she had just met him at the Geller's Thanksgiving years ago, but this episode reveals she was at a party with him and even kissed him. Ok, she was drunk when she kissed him but she would still remember the party, and surely she'd remember the guy who was the reason her friend Monica lost all that weight.

Correction: (This is really just emphasising that when Rachel was younger she was selfish and obsessed with herself and she didn't really notice other people around her. When she was in high school (The One Where The Stripper Cries) she was the pretty cheerleader who didn't care about anyone else and when she was with Barry in The One With The Flashback she was still very rich and snobby and wouldn't have - or at least would pretend not to - remember Chandler.)

The One With The Flashback - S3-E6

Corrected entry: This episode takes place one year before the pilot (Rachel was supposed to get married in one year in the flashback and the pilot started on the day of her wedding). But in this episode, Ross finds out that Carol is a lesbian. However, not until the 2nd or 3rd episode does he find out she's pregnant. For this to make sense, either she had a really long pregnancy or else they continued sleeping together for a year after she came out (not likely).

Correction: In a later episode ("The One With The Boob Job" I believe) Ross mentions that he and Carol slept together after she had come out of the closet. That's probably when Ben was conceived.

Correction: They explained it during "The Last One." They died, but Joey was never told that, he was told that they went to a special farm.

Correction: Phoebe holds all the items Rachel gives her in her hands, she does not put them on the sofa. When Monica comes in, the stuff in still in Phoebes hands. The next time we see Phoebe the stuff is gone but she had plenty of time to return it to the paper bag that Rachel placed on the floor earlier.

Show generally

Corrected entry: The outside shot they use of Monica's building is wrong as it shows them to be on a corner block with buildings adjoining on either side. However, Monica's apartment has windows on 3 side - kitchen, living room and bedrooms.

Gail Field

Correction: The kitchen window is at an angle and not really on the 3rd side of the building so the the apartment really only has windows on two sides.

The One With The Secret Closet - S8-E14

Corrected entry: In "The One With The Secret Closet," the whole show is about Monica's secret closet (the one near the bathroom), why she keeps the door locked and how Chandler wants to find out what's in there. However, in "The One with the Dozen Lasagnas," the door is open and the closet reveals nothing more than clothes and other regular stuff you put in a closet. Also in the one where Phoebe and Rachel are looking for Christmas presents Rachel says she'll go and check the back closet, the one next to the bathroom.

Correction: Chandler says "since I've lived here, I've never seen the inside of that closet" or something along those lines. Monica had plenty of time to clutter up that closet, without Chandler ever having to see it.

Kathy: So, what did you do today?
Chandler: Well, I had an appointment to get my hair cut...
Kathy: Oh, it looks great!
Chandler: ...and then it got cancelled.

Trivia: The Magna-doodle on the door in the boys apartment has a different picture on it every episode. There is usually some tenuous connection between the picture and the plot of the episode.

The One With The Dirty Girl - S4-E6

Question: When Joey asks why he can't give Kathy the pen, Chandler says, "Because she's not eleven. And it's not the seventh night of Chanukah." What is Chandler talking about when he says, "It's not the seventh night of Chanukah?"

Answer: Usually by the seventh night of Hanukkah you don't know what to get the other person, and you will probably resort to getting the other person something insignificant. Chandler is basically saying that the pen is a stupid gift.

Answer: Chanukah is a Jewish celebration that occurs around the same time as the Christian Christmas. The celebration lasts for eight days and it is customary to give a small gift on each of the eight days. There is no special gift required and the line about it being "the seventh night" of Chanukah is just Chandler's sarcasm.
