Mistake When George Lucas was mixing the American Graffiti soundtrack, he numbered the reels of film starting with an R and numbered the dialog starting with a D. Sound designer Walter Murch asked George for Reel 2, Dialog 2 by saying "R2D2". George liked the way that sounded so much he integrated that into Star Wars.

Please ONLY enter a timecode if you've got a precise DVD time in hours, minutes, seconds. Please enter the time as a few seconds before the actual mistake, so it's a bit easier to find. If you're submitting a time for a 2-disc film, please use the time from the start of whichever disc you're on (rather than total time into the film). The second timecode isn't needed if the mistake occurs across a relatively short time (ie. if something changes within a few seconds).
