New site - Poll the Other One
I've put together a new site based on an idea that's been buzzing around my head for ages - Poll the Other One. You can create your own polls (for text and images), ranked lists, or rate images in a variety of categories, with a message board for each poll. You can even create limited-access polls so only people you invite can vote on them. It's early days so there aren't that many entries yet, but please take a look, have a play, add lots of polls, and let me know any suggestions you might have...
Charity appeal
My father's doing a bike ride at the end of May this year for the charity "Help for Heroes", a new charity formed in 2007 to raise money to support our servicemen and women who have been injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's a 342 mile bike ride through the battlefields of Normandy, Picardy and the Somme, over the course of 5 days. If you'd like to sponsor him, please do, via the Just Giving website. Thanks!
Mailing list
There's now a moviemistakes.com mailing list - not entirely sure what to do with it yet, but enough people have asked over the years that it's probably worth doing. At the moment my thoughts are to send something out every week or two, highlighting the biggest new entries on the site, any site news, mistakes in current releases...things like that.

Never hurts to ask this - if anyone's got any suggestions for things they'd like to see on the site, or anything they'd like to be done differently, please get in touch. No doubt there are various quirks, oddities, or out and out problems which I'm just not aware of, so please speak up! Any area's fair game, whether it's design, content, features...anything you can think of! The contact form's here.
Important - please read
As you may well have noticed, certain titles have become swamped with hundreds of entries, many of which may well be valid, but lots are also to do with seemingly minor events, such as small movements of clothing, or changes in the background which might take a few viewings to spot. In order to help streamline the site a bit, some mistakes which seem to be quite insignificant, however genuine, will be manually filtered out into the minor section, and excluded from the overall mistake counts. They'll all still be there to be read (just click "minor" on the left when viewing any film), but I think most people don't want to be faced with hundreds of mistakes when viewing entries. However, I'm open to all opinions, so please let me know your thoughts - is it a good idea to try and separate out the large and small mistakes, do you not mind hundreds of entries per film, or do you have another idea how to deal with it entirely?
To help clear out any entries which you think aren't very significant, just click "make changes" on the left on any film's page, then choose "minor entry" from the drop down box next to the relevant entry. Once an entry gets enough votes (you can only vote once per entry!) it'll be moved to the minor section.
