Mistakes in Addams Family Values

Mistake #1

When Wednesday and Pugsley are playing with the guillotine, Wednesday has a scroll in her hands, which she then rolls up. The shot changes and you can still see the rolled up scroll in her hands. However, the shot then changes again and you can now see Wednesday rolling up the already rolled up scroll.

Mistake #2

The scarf that Debbie wears while she is driving disappears and reappears throughout the scene.

Mistake #3

It seems unlikely that Debbie would have managed to take the photographs of her husbands' murders she shows the Addams family at the end, especially considering the angle of the shot of the surgeon. He's not looking at the cam so she wasn't holding it.

Mistake #4

When Carol Kane is putting the skull into Joan Cusack's hand, the skull is facing towards Joan, but in the next shot it is facing away from her.

Mistake #5

At the beginning of the film we learn who Debbie is, but the newscaster mentions that she had a different name and disguise each marriage. Yet at the end when the Addamses are in electric chairs, she says that her husbands said, "Sorry, Debbie."
