Question
I recently rented a movie. Since this was a title I was very interested in, I paid the extra fifty cents a day to get blu-ray. I figured that would mean I would get more bonus features. To my surprise, there wasn't a single one. I knew that a lot of studios have chosen to put the bonus only on the retail perchance version of DVDs, but I had not realized this trend was now extended to blu-ray. My question: is there any online resource that tells what titles you have to buy, not just rent, to see bonus features? Answer
There are these 2 guys, and they set up this "killing competition" where they have this big group of people that have to kill their marks, and say two of the killers are trying to kill the same mark? One killer has to kill the other so they can get credit for the kill of the mark. The last one standing is the winner and the winner is a girl and she drives a WHITE motorcycle. So she's all happy and excited (I don't know what the winner was supposed to win) but then the two guys that created the game/competition thing kill her with cement shoes off a dock. I think it's a movie from the 90's. Answer
I'm trying to remember the name of a film. It was animated and various star faring races who bickered a lot and are invaded by a force of robots. The robots can put the arrow shaped bows of six ships together and destroy planets and ships like the death star (Example only, it is not any way related to star wars) At a conference, the various races start listing their military strength and pledging to work together but a robot leader interrupts the meeting and laughs at them. Then just when it looks hopeless, an old bearded scientist makes contact with a kind of galactic consciousness that ends the invasion. Probably late 80's. Answer
I am looking for the name of a movie about a young man born and raised in a mental institute. Discovered/Diagnosed by a Nurse and reintegrated into society. I think it may be based on a true story. Answer
I watched a Lifetime movie a few years ago, I don't know what it's called, but this is how it goes. There was a couple who were married and had a baby only I think it died, no clue why, anyways I believe they move to a new house. Only weird things start happening, like things moving on their own, baby cries stuff like that, only it was only apparent to the woman. She ends up contacting a seer, who tells the family that it indeed is a baby ghost, who has latched onto the woman thinking she is his mom. The woman ends up setting fire to the house after the guy left, and died to be the baby's mom. Does anyone know the name of this movie? Thanks. Answer
I am trying to find out the name of a film I saw as a kid. I watched it on TV probably in the late 1960's or early 70's, so not sure when it was made. There is a bad guy terrorizing the town and he walks into town and the people are lined up on the roof tops and riddle his back full of bullets as he lay on the ground. He is wearing a black vest and you can see all the bullet holes in the black vest. Answer
Does anyone know the name of the movie about a group of robbers that hide the loot and after that deliberately break into some factory (or something like that) where they get drunk, break furniture (or machines) and allow policemen to arrest them. They are found guilty for vandalism, but are not connected with the robbery which was the reason why they break in in the first place. They are sentenced for a year or two and they plan to share the loot after they get out. But someone starts to kill one by one. Answer
Does anyone know name of the black and white movie about a woman who is visited by the stranger claiming that he is her brother, gradually all photos are changed to have him as her brother in them. Finally, when we all start believing that he wants to make her crazy, she confesses that she killed her brother and we realize that he is a policeman. Answer
I would like to know the title of a film I saw in the mid-late 80's. I remember very little about the film except for the finale where there was a chase through a jungle with the good guys escaping by plane. The bad guys look on disappointed and turn around preparing to trudge back from whence they came, apparently thwarted, only for the the engine of the plane to fail. This reinvigorates the pursuers who prepare to take up the chase yet again but the film then ends. It has been bugging me for years, any help would be most gratefully received. Answer
I remember seeing a movie about 20 years ago on TV. There was a young woman looking for her sister who went missing from a party. She is assisted by a bungling investigator. The body of her sister is eventually recovered from a canal. The titles of the film may have related to the river of canal but I can't be sure. I had it in mind that the investigator was played by Michael Caine because the actor resembled Caine but it wasn't actually him. His character was fairly comic although the film was not a comedy. I think it was a British film. Any help greatly appreciated. Answer
I am searching for the name of a American movie from the 70s. It may have been an ABC movie of the week. I think characters A and B drown a man in the bath tub. It is staged between A and the man. Soon after the man begins to haunt B in hope of scaring her to death. The movie is not Les Diaboliques and dates prior to Diabolique with Sharon Stone. Do you know the name of the movie? Answer
In this movie there is this woman who is pregnant and in prison. During most of the movie the husband is there worried while she has a difficult labor. The doctors ask the husband who they should save if they could only save his wife or the baby. He says save his wife. But she wakes up and they ask her what to do and she says to save the baby. I think the movie may have been in black and white. Does anyone know the name of this movie? Answer
In the mid to late eighties I saw a movie (on TV) or a TV show about one or possibly two men. The only part I remember is that they were washed ashore and their bodies were covered in electricity much like lightning and then they were taken to the hospital and were being rushed down a hallway on a gurney. Does anyone know the name of it? Answer
I am looking for a really old movie about a middle-aged couple whose daughter and son-in-law lived with them, or son and d-i-l. The younger girl was selfish and didn't want to help in the home. The older woman ended up pregnant and her husband wasn't happy so she actually left him for a while. The younger woman had to wash dishes and clean and was unhappy. I remember one scene in a public setting, maybe an airport, where the older man is trying to convince his wife to come back and in the course of their conversation, she announces loudly that he was the one who impregnated her and it embarrassed him. Eventually they did get back together and the younger couple's lives smoothed out, too. Answer
Family movie saw in 1970's at local park. Very vague details. A boy, I believe becomes orphaned and has to go live with mean uncle in country? Ranch? Farm? Boy finds dog, his only friend in the world. Uncle is always mean and boy is always in trouble. Uncle punishes boy one day by taking dog out in the middle of a lake, ties dog up in a sack with weight and throws dog over. I know the dog somehow lives. Very sad movie. I've always wanted to see it again: is it really as sad as I recall? No idea name, actors, sorry. I do know it was in color and I believe a full length type film. Answer
I saw this film about twenty years ago and was wondering if anyone else has any idea of information on it. It was black and white about a fort set in old west and it was a comedy. It had a song saying something like "if you could only hear the hoofbeats on the ground" which was accompanied with footage of a horse running. Anything that comes to mind would be greatly appreciated. I saw it one time with my mom and the ten year anniversary of her death is coming up, and I would like to watch it again. Thanks. Answer
Hello,I am trying to remember a tv series episode possibly late 1970s , similar to Twilight Zone. There is a house and two people, a man in his forties and a woman about same age. They wake to find that they are trapped. There are symbols on the appliances in the house that resemble a lightning bolt. The man uses his car that is in the attached garage to ram the door, but it doesn't work. At the end of show we realize that a metal cover was on the house, and as the house is tilted, you see the man and woman roll and tumble down a hallway. Answer
I am looking for a 1950s or 1960s movie that I saw as a child, about a mother and daughter who both decided to find Mr. Right for the other one. After several humorous mishaps, I think they fell in love with the man they had each chosen for the other - the daughter with the older man and the mother with the younger, and I think it might have been set in Paris, and might have been black and white, but I'm not sure about any of that. I used to think that "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" was the finale song, but apparently not. With this very little bit of uncertain tips, I hope you can help me. Smile. Answer
There was a 60's or 70's Saturday morning non-Japanese-made cartoon series about a superhero that was made of weed or grass or something similar. It wasn't controversial at the time because no one caught on to its obvious drug-reference overtones. The superhero was NOT "Swamp Thing", "Captain Planet", "Sigmund/Sea Monsters", "8-Man", or the "Toxic Crusader". A clip was featured in a compilation documentary of controversial or banned cartoons narrated by (I think) Bob Barker. It was on YouTube once, but now it's gone. Answer
