| I can't remember if this is a movie or a TV show episode. It's setting is a time period that looks like Hawaii Five-0 (in fact it could be an episode for all I know). There is a group of guys that kidnap girls. One of the guys is dressed up as an old woman in need of assistance or something, then at least one of the girls gets away and the guys that escape the police start terrorizing her. | This was a movie from the 80s/70s of bedtime stories that a father was telling his son. In one story, a truck and a car come to an intersection in a Midwestern area, and the truck will not let the car drive through the intersection. Any information would be helpful. | Answer |
| I am wondering about the title of a movie I vaguely remember from childhood. It was on television, so I assume it was probably made in the 60s or 70s. What I remember was a small puddle of brownish-colored goo with bubbles in it lying on the floor. The men in the movie did not know what to do about this stuff. I don't think it was supposed to be a horror movie, but for small child like myself it terrified me and gave me a hard time sleeping at night. | The only scene my sister and I remember (from what we think was a film) shows a girl walking through the woods. There's a pond, with (I think) lots of water lilies floating on it. A small submarine rises from the pond, and the girl gets in, then it submerges in the pond, which although small from the outside is extremely deep under the surface. No one else remembers this film and we think we may have made it up, but it is very vivid in our memories. I think it was dubbed, as it may have been Dutch or something, and probably made in the early 70s perhaps. We've been trying to remember for years. Please help us, thanks. | Answer |
| I'm looking for a cartoon or a cartoon series that I liked when I was little (in the late 80s or early 90s). It was about some toys that came to life. | I'm trying to find the title of this old, possibly black and white movie. I only vaguely remember what the story's about, about American / Western visitors to the Amazon, either on a holiday or for work. I remembered an American's guy continued search for his girlfriend / wife, who has fallen in love with a native and gone away with him. One scene that stuck with me was the woman lying relaxed (maybe naked?) on the kayak on the river through the jungle, while the native was steering it. | Answer |
| I am looking for the title of a movie in which a guy goes around killing people and takes a piece of them (arm, leg, head, etc). | I am trying to identify a movie I saw as a child in in 1970s. It was an old film, possibly 1950s or even 1940s. I don't know if it was black and white or colour as the TV was black and white. In the movie a man was following a woman through a forest or jungle. She would appear in the distance, dressed in white and glowing. She would be signing some sort of wordless haunting song. | I remember watching a movie on TV in the 50's or 60's, I think it was in black and white. There was a young woman throughout the movie keeps in a sing-song manner mumbling what seems to be gibberish rhyming. | I am looking for an American commercial advertisement (I 'think' it was for a car or something in the 1990s perhaps) that features a man standing in front of a chalkboard, his right hand is solving a complex mathematical problem, while his left hand is simultaneously drawing a beautiful work of art. | A few years ago, I watched a movie on TV about a girl who has been teased in high school, by one popular guy and especially his girlfriend. About 10 years later, the girl has a great job, and the popular guy, who now owns a restaurant, needs her help (promoting it?) only he doesn't recognize her. She decides to make him fall in love with her and then break his heart, like he did with her. Only she herself falls in love with him too. | There is a movie I recall seeing on tv a number of years ago. It involved a guy escorting a lady through a number of dangerous situations and ultimately ends with him pointing out to the antagonist that she is a "class act" which causes him to move so the "hero" can get a shot off. During the movie there was more than one instance where she was shown to not be "classy," and hence the "class act" line, having her act the way needed to have a clear shot. Not recalling the name of this movie has bugged me for awhile now. | Answer |
