Question: When Banjo and Kazooie take Gobi's water for the third time, he tells them he's going to the Lava World. Where is this?

Answer: From what I remember, there was suppose to a "lava world" in banjo-kazooie but never came to be. So in the sequel game, Banjo-Tooie, the lava world became half of hailfire peaks where gobi can be found, with a beard, after you rescue him from witchyworld, first, of course.

Question: How was the guy in Amanda Young's original game supposed to survive? He was sedated and couldn't really move enough, so how was he supposed to get out of being stabbed?

Answer: Yes, he was meant to die. It was Amanda's test not his. Just like in alll the other movies those who are being tested are often responsible for the death of others who don't have a choice in the matter (Saw VI for example when the guy has to choose which coworker is hung and which isn't).

Answer: There's also writing on the walls that don't have anything to do with Amanda's game, suggesting that he may have lost his game (that we never saw) and his punishment was to be used in Amanda's game.

Answer: The Emperor knows that Vader is aware of Luke. He contacts Vader to tell him to kill Luke when he is found. Vader, however suggests he be captured instead and turned to the dark side. The Emperor questions whether turning Luke is even possible to which Vader states "He will join us or die.", meaning if he fails he fully intends to go through with the Emperors plan of killing Luke.

Question: When she discovers the cans are all in order, why doesn't she run out the back door which is right there? Why does she run to the front door?

Answer: There's no way to know what she was thinking or why she chose to do that. She was panicked and reacted on impulse rather than logic. One thought, going to the front door is the most direct route to the main street where she could get to a neighbor or find other people more quickly. Backyards are more secluded and dangerous.

Question: At the end when Fudge, Percy and the rest arrived at the ministry why did Voldemort leave, since none of them are powerful enough to harm him?

THE GAMER NEXT DOOR

Answer: Some of the most powerful wizards arrived at the ministry along with Fudge, among them a lot of Aurors. They hunt dark wizards like Voldemort and together they are certainly powerful enough to harm him. Dumbledore was still there as well.

Question: Why don't the other emotions let Sadness use the console to make Riley sad? Is this why Sadness thinks she isn't a needed emotion?

Answer: Joy was determined to keep Riley happy. To do so meant to keep the others away. But especially Sadness.

MasterOfAll

Answer: It was mainly done to intimidate Stewie and show Stewie how crazy he is and how tough he is. There's a similar scene from "Lethal Weapon" where Mr. Joshua puts his arm over a guy's lighter to intimidate him and show how he's impervious to pain.

Bishop73

Question: How accurate is the Normandy invasion scene? Was the real battle as dramatic as shown in the movie?

Answer: Definitely, the scene was praised for its historical accuracy by veterans and WWII experts. Even the landing crafts were real. Not on all beaches this kind of resistance was happening though, like Utah beach.

lionhead

Answer: The scene was no doubt mostly accurate and was praised as one of the most accurate depictions of World War II ever and even traumatised some veterans. However, there were some changes and some slight inaccuracies (most of it due to filming reasons). For instance the 'Dog One' exit is portrayed as a footpath whereas it was an actual road in reality. The beach in the film is much narrower beach than the real Omaha beach, this was because the real Omaha had the US cemetery and the surrounding area had changed significantly since the war. In any case filming permission on the beach itself was denied by French authorities (although filming in the cemetery was granted), so a similar looking beach in Ireland had to be used. The bunkers were also primarily used as observations posts and not machine gun nests as depicted. However, despite this, the depiction of the landing on Omaha is mostly accurate, and most of the errors mentioned were very minor.

Answer: Scottsdale is a well-liked destination for fun; resorts and spas, outdoor activities like hiking and rock climbing, golfing, cultural events, and a bouncy nightlife. It's generally considered an upbeat and convivial place, exactly the sort of environment the gloomy Goth kids would consider to be awful.

Question: How could Eleanor be related to Hugh Crain if all of Hugh's children died at birth?

Answer: Crain had two wives. All of his children from his first wife, Renee, died at birth and then Renee killed herself. Later we find out that Crain had a second wife, Carolyn, and they did have a child who survived. Carolyn is Eleanor's grandmother.

Bishop73

Answer: Nell learns she's the descendant of Hugh Crain's second wife (who ran away after learning of Crain's murderous nature).

Question: Would making a sticky bomb using the method shown in the movie be possible in real life?

Answer: This was based on an actual method that had been developed during the war, though it proved to be too dangerous with uncontrolled explosions to be used effectively.

raywest

Answer: Yes, they could be possible. But making bombs like that are very dangerous to use so I wouldn't try it out. It's doubtful anything of the sorts were used during WWII, there already were pre-made sticky bombs around that worked a lot better.

Question: How is it known that Amanda was supposed to put the key around Adam's neck?

Answer: Since she was helping Jigsaw with his "game", chances are he told her to do it.

Answer: I don't recall at any point John telling Amanda to put the key around Adam's neck. That is completely made up.

Amanda was Jigsaw's accomplice so it would make sense for him to tell her to do it.

Just because it "makes sense" doesn't make it canon.

We don't actually need to see Jigsaw tell Amanda to put the key Adam's neck. Amanda is Jigsaw's accomplice and will do anything he tells her too. Including, offscreen, have Amanda place the key on Adam.

The whole process had to be planned beforehand. Ample time for it to be explained.

Ssiscool

Answer: Everything is meticulously planned out by Jigsaw. He is extremely methodical and would have told Amanda exactly what needs to be done.

Ssiscool

Answer: It makes sense, since Adam's game was about looking at himself for a change, instead of others. The tape states: "What do voyeurs see when they look into the mirror?" So, if Adam had looked at himself, he would have found the key on him.

Question: Why did Walker destroy the money instead of letting the villain have it?

Answer: As soon as the villains had the money they would have immediately killed Tucker, Walker's friend. The money was a bargaining chip. He also didn't want them to win.

raywest

Answer: Because he is a criminal and she doesn't want him to be a bad influence on her.

lionhead

Answer: He did. But Hagrid loved him more. He was heartbroken when Buckbeak was taken from him in Prisoner Of Azkaban so Harry thought it best for him to go back to Hagrid.

THGhost

Answer: Harry didn't own Buckbeak or have any decision about what became of him, nor could he have taken care of him. After Sirius Black escaped, he kept Buckbeak hidden at his house, Black Manor. Harry saw Buckbeak when he visited his godfather. If Buckbeak had been returned to Hogwarts, he'd still be executed. Eventually, Buckbeak was secretly reintroduced into the Hogwarts hippogriff herd under the new name of Witherwings.

Question: Even though Kazooie is a protagonist, why does she insult some characters, including Tooty, Bottles, and Mumbo Jumbo?

Question: What was given to Paul to make him talk?

Answer: To further elaborate, sodium pentothal, AKA "truth serum" places the subject in a sedated state; the subject is then questioned while under its influence because it is supposedly very difficult (but not impossible) to lie while under its influence.

zendaddy621

Answer: Sodium Pentothal.

Question: How did Gollum know someone named Baggins from the Shire has the ring?

Answer: Because during the events of The Hobbit, Gollum met Bilbo, who introduced himself as Bilbo Baggins from the Shire.

Friso94

Question: Why doesn't Gandalf want Pippin to touch the crystal ball, whatever it's called? Does it give Sauron the ability to read minds?

Answer: In a word, yes. The palantír (as it is called) forms a mental link between itself and others like it, and a strong mind (such as Sauron) can manipulate weaker ones (as he did with Saruman and Denethor).

Was Gandalf afraid that if pippin touched the palantir, Sauron would use it to corrupt him?

He was mostly afraid Pippin would accidentally reveal Frodo is carrying the ring and is on his way to Mount Doom.

lionhead

Question: Why didn't the tower guards spot Frank, and the Anglin brothers while they were in the water?

Answer: Because, in the context of the story, they are in pitch blackness. It is common film practice to illuminate night scenes that would otherwise be in total darkness, for the obvious reason that the audience needs to see what is happening; however, as far as the characters are concerned, there is no such light.

I meant during the real escape.

Same reason - it was dark.
