This page is for questions relating to a specific movie/TV show. If you have a more general question, ie. you can't remember the name of a movie, or want to know how an aspect of filmmaking works, check out the general movie questions section.

These are all the unanswered questions currently listed on moviemistakes.com. Got a question about a movie/TV show that the IMDb or Google can't help with? You can submit them in the same way as you would a mistake - just click "contribute" on the left when you're on the relevant film's page (if you want to submit for a film I don't have listed, click it when NOT viewing a specific film), and write your question in the box, being sure to change the type to "Question". I'll post it ASAP and hopefully someone will answer soon! Members get e-mailed when any of their questions are answered.

Title Question
21 What was the club they went to in the middle of the movie? Not the strip club, it was a dance club. The entry was a long hallway with red lights inside, then it opened up to the big dance area. Does anyone know? Thx. Answer
21 I was under the impression, although I may be wrong, that winnings in Vegas are taxed over a certain amount, and that this is done in the casino when cashing out. At the end of the film, Lawrence Fishburn says that the IRS will be wanting to speak to Kevin Spacey, but how were they able to cash out the amounts they won whilst using fake id's? It doesn't mention it in the book either - I know for the purposes of the film this is soemthing they can gloss over, but I was wondering if it would be possible to win the amounts they are talking about and simply walk out with the cash? I know in one part they cash it in in smaller amounts, but surely the casino would be aware of a huge win on one of the tables, and would be expecting a big cash out? Answer
24 3:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M.: Who provided the voices of the CTU routing operator and Agent Watson? Answer
24 All of series 1: In an interview, Elisha Cuthbert mentioned the director sticking a stuffed rabbit in the background in some scenes so that you can only see its shadow. I don't think there was any special reason for this. Has anybody spotted the shadow of this stuffed bunny? If so, where can it been seen? Answer
24 Day 3: 2:00 A.M.-3:00 A.M.: On the DVD section for "Deleted Scenes" there is a scene with Sherry instructing Julia on how to handle Alan's death. The commentary confirms it as a deleted scene (not a shortened scene, a deleted scene). However in the actual episode the scene IS included, both when it aired on TV and on the DVD. What am I missing here? Answer
Answer
24 Day 2: 7:00 A.M.-8:00 A.M.: Who are the people Kingsley are reporting to on the phone? I understand he works for them but was there ever any indication as to who they were or what their roll in all this was? Answer
24 All of series 6: It is mentioned that 14 months prior to Day 6, Abu Fayed was detained by CTU Seattle, and his release was signed by Bill Buchanan. Considering the 20-month jump between seasons five and six and no mention of Buchanan ever being reassigned, the math doesn't add up; it seems to me that Buchanan would still have been at CTU Los Angeles. Can someone help me out? Answer
24 Across whole show: In "24: The Game," was the 3-D model of Peter Madsen based upon Christian Kane, who provided the character's voice? Answer
24 All of series 1: Considering how long it takes to reach the United States from Yugoslavia, it seems to imply that the Drazens had always anticipated Gaines' team to fail. If they were so certain of this, why did they hire Gaines in the first place? Answer
About Schmidt When Randall takes a photo of Warren and Jeannie at the airport after the mother's funeral, what happens to the camera he uses? He seems to put it down on something behind Warren, but then walks past Warren to get his luggage. Warren walks forward toward the gate and isn't seen to pick anything up after saying goodbye. I guess he could have, but wouldn't it have been stolen by then if it was left behind? I didn't see Randall put it in a pocket or bag. Answer

Apocalypto Can anyone explain the necklaces? Before Flint Sky is killed and before Jaguar Paw is sent out to run for his life, the Mayan warrior removes the necklaces they wear. When the warrior is bitten by the snake, he removes his own necklace before cutting his wrists. This happens several times in the movie so it seems like removing the necklace before facing death is significant. Can anyone shed some light on this? Answer
Apocalypto I heard that the makers of this film are planning on making a "sequel" which will take place from the ending of this one, but focused form the point of view of the people on the ships, I cannot find anything about this, however. Does anyone know if there's truth to this? Answer
Atonement After a fellow soldier throws his boots, Robbie walks ahead to retrieve them and discovers a large group of murdered children in, I presume, school or church uniforms. Is this moment based on a real historical event of WWII? Answer
August Rush What was the significance of showing us Lyla dropping her necklace outside the hotel? Louis didn't pick it up did he? Answer
Austin Powers in Goldmember Is the skin-peeling that Goldmember does a reference to something or is it just a running gag? Answer
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me In the first film, the scene where Dr. Evil shushes Scott was improvised by the two actors. Was the "zip it" scene in this film also improvised? Answer
