This page is for questions relating to a specific movie/TV show. If you have a more general question, ie. you can't remember the name of a movie, or want to know how an aspect of filmmaking works, check out the general movie questions section.
These are all the unanswered questions currently listed on moviemistakes.com. Click "answer" on the right to answer a question, or else you can click the title to see all questions for that film/TV show. Got a question about a movie/TV show that the IMDb or Google can't help with? You can submit them in the same way as you would a mistake - just click "submit something" on the left when you're on the relevant film's page (if you want to submit for a film I don't have listed, click it when NOT viewing a specific film), and write your question in the box, being sure to change the type to "Question". | 2012 | Hawaii (a chain of islands consisting entirely of volcanoes) and Yellowstone (biggest caldera on earth) both erupt, thus throwing phenomenal amounts of ash etc. into the atmosphere creating what used to be described as a 'nuclear winter' effect. Large areas of the Earth's crust subside and or tilt and flip over, and what is left is scoured by countless tsunamis spreading in all and every direction. So here is both my question and observation. How come 27 days later, when the ships opened their sides, there were virtually clear skies and what appeared to be quite balmly temperatures? Furthermore as the world wide fires and volcanic activity would have eaten a considerable amount of the oxygen and the monstrous tidal waves would have scoured the land and washed away the rainforests, what exactly was producing the oxygen in the 'fresh air' they were being encouraged to breath?? | Answer |

| Bones | Fire in the Ice: Across this episode and the last one, both Bones and Booth have suffered a relatively minor injury warranting some sort of costume addition (a cast and an eyepatch), which wasn't at all relevant to the plot in either case. It can't be that they were genuine injuries written into the script, because they're both seen uninjured during the episode too. It just seems odd to have a noticeable "thing" which serves no narrative purpose - was there a specific reason anyone knows of, or is it just how the scripts came out? | Answer |
