Continuity: When Adam Banks is playing in one of the games, he scores a goal and his teammates on the bench stand up and cheer when he scores. Problem is, Adam Banks is on the bench too.

Factual error: At the end when one of the Hawks cross-checks Adam Banks from behind. He only recieves a two minute penalty. It should be ten minutes or a game misconduct.

Continuity: In the championship game, Banks gets knocked out of the game when he is checked into the goal post. If you look at the action after he's gone, you can still see Banks in some of the action. You can't see his face, but you can see his number 99 playing in some scenes.

Continuity: When Bombay asks Fulton to "Do it again" after shooting the puck, the first window he broke is fixed.

Continuity: In the first game against the hawks, they come down on a 4 on 0 and Goldberg says "oh no not again". You can see that the net is new with white netting. However, in the next scene it is old and grey.

Continuity: When Gordon's long-time friend shows him the hockey skates he'd like him to put on, he's holding them with his fingers on the laces and his thumbs underneath. The camera angle changes, and now his thumbs are on the laces with his fingers underneath. It goes back and forth like this several times.

Other: At the end of the movie, Charlie goes to take his penalty shot and goes around the puck three times. In the rules you must touch the puck within a 5 second time period or the shot is forfited.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where they're practising and they leave Goldberg tied up against the goal-post, you can see behind him the reflection of a crew member moving.

Factual error: In the championship game, Adam Banks scored a goal after being cross-checked by a Hawk. This sequence of events does not result in a power play, as depicted by the movie. When a penalty is called, the ref will refrain from blowing his whistle if the team that did not commit the penalty still has control of the puck. If the team scores during that time, the penalty is nullified.

Continuity: In the scene where Bombay is out of the limo which is on the ice he is reading his list of players. He says "Conway, Charlie. Averman, Dave." There was a Dave on the team, but that was not Averman's first name.

Continuity: In the scene where Tammy and Tommy first join the team and get their uniforms, Bombay helps Tammy get her shirt over her head. Her hair is tucked in the shirt. In the next shot before she talks to Tommy, her hair is above her shirt.

Factual error: All youth hockey players use mouth-guards, yet most (if not all) players in the movie don't have any.

Factual error: The science teacher makes a water molecule and claims it makes up "96% of the human body." This is simply wrong. Depending on the person, it usually ranges between 70-80%, with around 15-18% of us being carbon.

Factual error: Going into the playoffs, the Ducks were seeded last, and the Hawks were seeded first. Therefore, the Ducks should have played the Hawks in the first round, not the finals.

Factual error: On the last goal on the penalty shot the ref allows the coach to let any player on the team to take the shot. While this was great for the script, hockey rules state that the player who drew the penalty takes the penalty shot.
