Continuity: In the scene where Edward and Carter are on the plane, Edwards book keeps changing position from mostly open to mostly closed, as well as the amount read varies.

Audio problem: When Edward and Carter are arguing at the fdaughter's house, Edwards says, "Presidents have asked my advice." Although the camera is on Carter, Edward's mouth movements don't appear to match what he said.

Continuity: While racing, Carter crashes against a wooden barrier, splaterring its bits all over the race track. When the angle changes the road is clean.

Continuity: In one of the scenes in the hospital room, Morgan Freeman puts on his glasses. The next camera shot shows him with them off, then on again in the next shot.

Continuity: When the movie starts, Edward and his assistant hold a cup of coffee, with the handle facing 6 0'clock. From a different angle, half a second later, the handle is facing the opposite direction, without anybody moving the cup.

Continuity: When Carter is in the bubble bath watching "Jeopardy," the number of categories that are available for play change. Mainly the middle two columns go from being partially played to having never been selected.

Continuity: At the daughter's house, Nicholson rips up "The Bucket List" and throws the pieces to the ground. Later, the list is in perfect condition (not wrinkled or taped up), with the same pen colors for each item (not re-written).

Audio problem: In the hospital, while discussing the list, Edward talks to Carter and, from the back, he says the word "grief" and the sound stops; but his jaw keeps on moving as if he kept on talking.

Revealing: SPOILER: In the film's final scene, Thomas has made it to the mountaintop, and although it's supposed to be extremely cold, and even though he's bundled up to the hilt, there's not the slightest hint of steam emanating from his mouth or nose when he breathes.

Continuity: When Edward is first wheeled into his room and Thomas, the doctor and the nurse are standing over him, the nurse changes from standing next to Edward's head to standing right in front of the doctor and back again between shots, without time for her to move.

Continuity: After Carter's wife has just left the first time she visits, Edward's head goes from being on the pillow to off the pillow on the bed throughout the rest of the scene.

Visible crew/equipment: Edward arrives at this daughter's house and two big white lighting screens get reflected on the car's door.

Continuity: When Nicholson and Freeman's characters are arguing in front of the daughter's house, you can notice that Nicholson's shirt collar flips back and forth from inside his jacket to outside as the camera angles change.

Continuity: When Morgan Freeman is in the tub, the patch on his chest is alternately visible and then covered by bubbles throughout the scene.
