Plot hole: When Livingston is arrested by the FBI, Bank tells his people to run Dell's prints and get info on all of his known associates. When the images are sent to Bank, Virgil digitally alters them and changes the names while Bank is distracted by Basher. One of the faces altered is Livingston's, despite the fact that Bank already has his name and has seen his face.

Continuity: When Rusty is in Bank's office posing as a seismologist, Bank's glasses appear, disappear, then reappear between shots.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Danny and Rusty are talking to Roman in the kitchen, the camera can be seen in the reflection of the kitchen window.

Plot hole: Wouldn't Bank have noticed that the motorcyclist who burst into his office (Basher) was obviously not the same ethnicity as the motorcyclist he met initially? There's a scene toward the middle of the movie where Bank is telling the real motorcyclist (a white guy) that he needs to perform the jump "at midnight", not "roundabout midnight", so we know Bank did in fact meet and talk to him. Sure, Bank meets a lot of people every day, but I'm sure he'd remember that the motorcyclist he hired to perform at the grand opening gala is white, not black - especially since he seemed to know quite a bit about the sport in his encounter with Basher when he rattled off a list of several well-known motorcyclists.

Continuity: In the opening of the movie, when Rusty and Danny are flying back to visit Rueben, you see them boarding a Gulfstream G200. However, the interior shots actually show them flying in a Gulfstream 5 (probably the one on the ramp next to the G200 when they exit the aircraft).

Factual error: No matter how efficiently Ocean's team works, or their alibis should the plan go wrong, the whole plot involving the drilling machine is totally insane and senseless. A very similar machine to that used for the Channel was recently used in Madrid, Spain, had over 500 parts that had to be assembled in the premises, a diameter of 15 meters, and the height of a 5 storey building. So there's no way whatsoever to transport, place, assemble and operate that thing as swiftly as they show.

Other: Only two people had access to the diamond viewing room, Bank and Sponder, but the FBI had no problem getting in.

Continuity: In the scene where the first whale is leaving the Bank and Willie is pleading for him to stay, the whale says, "I'm outta here" as the trunk opens and his luggage goes into it. The scene view changes slightly as Willie turns and the car is suddenly gone. Unlikely, as the trunk was just opening and the valet was loading it. Willie is still reacting to the scene, so it is not a matter of shortening the scene for time saving.

Visible crew/equipment: Crew members and stage lights get reflected on Bank's hard hat when Danny pays him a visit.

Continuity: While talking about the plan to flirt with Sponder, Yen's head swaps brusquely positions between shots.

Continuity: While the group talks about the plan to flirt with Sponder, Linus snaps his fingers and the position of his arm swaps from being up to being at waist level from one frame to the other when the angle changes.

Continuity: While Reuben is in bed, the tissue paper on the night table changes positions between shots.
