Mistake Plot hole: This should put an end to the corrections to the women driving a minivan over 1300 miles from Ohio to Madrid, NM in approximately 12 hours as depicted in the movie: In 2007, the 24 hours of Lemans race was won by an Audi which covered 3115 miles in the 24 hour race. By extension, we can safely assume the car covered a little over 1500 miles in 12 hours, either the first half or second half of the race. This *race* car averaged 129.96 mph to reach this distance. The movie would have us believe the women (I've been married twice, and don't care how angry the wives were, the state police would pull them over long before they hit 100 mph, let alone *averaged* over 100 mph to make the distance) drove a non race-prepped family Chrysler minivan (top speed 114 mph with the V6, if it's the newest model, which this one wasn't) in a slightly longer time than an Audi endurance race car could cover the same distance on a controlled race track. And the women would not have been able to make pit stops or refuelling stops as quickly as the race car, either. It simply could not happen.

Mistake Plot hole: We are expected to believe that the wives took the family minivan (it's not a rental, and they didn't fly) from Ohio to New Mexico in a probable time of about 12 hours. This is from the time Tim Allen called his wife and spilled the news that they were not on a business trip within Ohio, but in New Mexico during the evening of the Festival. Since the guys wanted to get an early start the next morning, and had not had breakfast, it's logical to assume the time the women arrive is at the latest 10 AM. For the wives to arrive, only shortly after the "real" biker gang who were only a couple of hours ride away, they would have had to driven at an *average* speed of over 100 mph over 1300 miles. This doesn't include stops for fuel, food, bathroom breaks, or the very high likelihood of being stopped for speeding by the State Troopers of 8 different states. To average 100 mph, taking into account stopping for fuel, food, or bathroom breaks, and driving through major cities, even using Interstates the whole way, they would have to drive at a higher speed of about 115 mph in a minivan (which has a top speed of 102 mph, or 110 mph), depending if it is a four cylinder or V6. It doesn't add up.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where the guys are being hit by bugs you see Woody drive past everyone, when he gets hit by the bird you see him passing everyone again.

Mistake Factual error: At the 28 minute mark, the Wild Hogs cross the Taos River Gorge Bridge in Taos, New Mexico. Shortly after the scene with the skinny dipping, they drive down the road and at the 34 minute mark, the sign on the right says, 'Missouri State Lane.' I never knew Missouri was inside the state of New Mexico.

Mistake Continuity: After the fight with the bikers, Tim Allen has about 5 cuts on his arm. The next shot about 2.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Martin Lawrence is squirting mustard and ketchup all over the 2 bikers, he has mustard on his elbow. In the next shot his elbow is perfectly clean.

Mistake Factual error: When the protagonists throw away their cell phones, ostensibly while they are still in Cincinnati, a building in the background says New Mexico on it.

Mistake Continuity: At one point Doug is kicked in the ribs, and falls down flat. Next shot he is on all fours ready to receive another kick to the ribs.

Mistake Audio problem: In the scene where Damien Blade shows up at the end, he shows up on a motorcycle close to the crowd, right on the main road, yet there's no sounds of a motorcycle pulling up before hand. They would definitely have noticed him pull up and hear his motorcycle coming in way before he stepped off the bike and the crowd parted way.

Mistake Factual error: The vulture following Dudley is a Lappet-Faced Vulture native to the Sinai. One would not encounter one in New Mexico.
