Trivia

As well as the Phil Collins cameo, also notable is David Crosby as one of the more vocal fore front pirates in the first scene of Hook's on the ship. Also in that scene the one pirate Hook seeks out to put in the "Boo Box" for punishment is actually Glenn Close. See more...

Mistake Continuity: After finding his son hit a home run in the game with the pirates, Peter decides he must learn how to fly. The ball his son hit comes flying from the sky and hits Peter in the head, knocking him over. When he hits the ground, he is lying on grass, but one second later he opens his eyes on grey rock.

Mistake Continuity: Moira throws the cell phone out the window with the antenna extended and the flap opened, and it is buried by Nana this way. When Peter finds it, however, the antenna is down and the flap is closed.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: Peter Pan is trying to free his children from Captain Hook in the beginning of the film. He's captured and tied up. After a few minutes he falls into the sea (with his hands tied up). He is then saved by 3 Mermaids. But watch the last Mermaid (green hair). When she is swimming towards Peter Pan, you can see a diver (stunt co-ordinator?) trying to get out of shot.

Mistake Revealing: When Tinkerbell is waking up all the Lost Boys and announcing Peter Pan's return, we see a shot in which Tink flies around a curly-headed boy. When she does, you can see the wire used to move the figure around his head. It is most visible when the boy turns his head toward the right side of the screen.

Mistake Revealing: When Rufio is training Peter, he swings at Peter and Peter's pants fall down. When Rufio swings, you can see that he is too far from Peter to have hit his belt.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Smee and Captain Hook are alone in the ship at night, Smee stands up just after eating chicken off his plate. His blue bandana hangs down his left shoulder near his plate. However, when the camera shoots Hook then comes back to Smee his bandana is now short, just resting on his left shoulder.

Mistake Continuity: At the end of the food fight, when Peter stands on a tall rock and looks over the scene, he is smudged with paint. In the next shot, the paint smudges are very different.

Mistake Continuity: Before the big battle scene at the end, between the Lost Boys and the pirates, Robin Williams shows up with a lot of makeup, mainly mascara and shadow on his eyelids (I believe to make him look younger). His extra makeup appears and disappears throughout the whole scene.

Mistake Continuity: When Peter is picking a lost boy to leave in charge and give the sword to, he withdraws his sword from his sheath twice.

Mistake Continuity: When Hook gets his gun to attempt suicide, Smee runs to the model Neverland, and his sleeves are rolled all the way up his arms, yet when it cuts and he grabs the small boat from the water, his sleeves are rolled down to his wrists.

Mistake Continuity: When Smee and Hook talk alone in the ship, Smee walks to the table, picks up a plate, and starts picking up food. Then it cuts and now Smee is holding the plate, with a red napkin underneath it which wasn't there previously.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Hook is first introduced by Smee, when the camera is focused in on Hook's hook, you can see the reflection of the crew in it.

Mistake Continuity: There is a scene where Hook is about to command his pirates to attack Peter Pan, and in doing so, goes to draw his sword. The shot cuts from Hook to Peter (I believe) and then back to Hook. When it cuts back to Hook, he goes to draw his sword again.

Mistake Revealing: When Peter is being "inspected" by some of the lost boys, a little lost boy with brown curly hair says "welcome back to Neverland, Pan the Man", if you watch Robin Williams (Peter) when the little boy says this, you can see him mouthing the words.

Mistake Continuity: When Peter is shot with the arrows, he has big patches of red, blue, yellow and green goop on his shirt. The patches are all big and touch each other, yet when Peter runs from the sniffing flowers, the stains are all smaller.

Mistake Continuity: When Peter Pan starts fighting Hook's pirates on the ships deck, he pushes the second pirate who attacks him into two barrells. Where the pirate is pushed, there are two barrells (which he flies into), a large wooden crate, and another large wooden crate with a barrell laying on it. Then when it cuts, there's now THREE small crates instead of the one large one, and there's now TWO barrells on top of the other crate!

Mistake Revealing: During the scene where Hook meets Peter for the first time, Smee gags Peter with his glasses and eye patch. As he puts them in Peter's mouth, you can see the pirate behind Peter holding them in place. In the shot where Hook removes the gag, the glasses are suddenly in firmly enough not to be held - the pirate's hand is now on Peter's shoulder.

Mistake Continuity: In the scenes after Peter is shot by the lost boys with their paint arrows, the patches of paint on Peter's shirt change between shots.

Mistake Revealing: When old Peter recalls going to Wendy's nursery when he was younger, there is a scene of him trying to catch his shadow from the wall. Yet you can see his real shadow, cast on the mantle and wall to his right.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: After one Lost Boy fires an arrow at Peter's butt, you can see a thin piece of fishing wire that hangs past the bow and in front of the Lost Boy, either used to launch or control the arrow.
