Continuity: When the mobsters have Jack's son, he drops the shotgun in the grass and walks forward. When the wife is looking from the window, the shotgun is missing.

Continuity: In the scene where Jack and Edie are fighting on the stairs, she kicks him away from her. In the shot when she kicks him,they show her standing up with her back towards the wall. In the very next close up shot, they show her sitting down in the middle of the step when she kicks him.

Continuity: In the scene when the mobsters have Jack's son, he gets shot in the shoulder and drops the handgun on the stone walkway, as you can hear it hit the stones. The shotgun is laying behind him on the grass. When they show it from the upstairs window, the shotgun is completely gone and the handgun is now on the grass, about 6ft from where he originally dropped it.

Continuity: Just after Tom has finished making love to his wife on the stairs we see him lying there with his left arm across his groin area. When the shot changes, his arm has moved up crossing his chest.

Continuity: During the scene at the shoe store in the mall, Mrs. Stalls is trying on shoes while her daughter Sarah is looking at porcelain bric-a-brac on a shelf for sale. Please take notice that in the two different camera shots that the bric-a-brac are not the same.

Continuity: When the police officer "Sam" pulls over the mobsters on the road he gets the driver license from the driver. The shot is made to appear continuous. The back window of the car opens and the officer begins to speak to that mobster. He still hasn't given the drivers license back to any member of the car cause he looks down at it to remember the name of the driver. The mobster in the back rolls up his window and the car drives away. The officer never gave back the license but when the car drives away he doesn't even appear to be holding it anymore cause his arms are folded.

Continuity: In the scene with Edie and the shotgun, there is a shot of Jack eating cereal. He pauses in amazement, with the spoon halfway to his mouth, then it cuts away and when it cuts back to him, he is still frozen in shock, but there is a bigger mound of cereal on the spoon.

Continuity: In the scene in which the mobsters come to take Tom back to Philadelphia we see Tom snap the bad guys arm and then repeatedly punch him in the nose. Just after the last punch we see that they bad guys nose is still intact, but bloody. In the next shot of the bad guy we see that his nose is now mauled and covered in blood.

Continuity: In the scene where the mobsters come to get Tom to go back to Philadelphia, Tom lays down his shotgun right next him. In the ensuing sequence where he beats up everybody but finally has Carl pointing a gun at his head, his son Jack somehow gets around everybody and now has the shotgun in his hands. Unless there is another shotgun in the house he couldn't have popped up in the midst of everything without being noticed.

Visible crew/equipment: In the opening scene when the killers get into the car, the boom mike can be seen reflected on the car's side.

Continuity: When Edie is serving dinner, she puts a spoonful of corn onto the daughter's plate, but when Tom enters the kitchen the previous serving of corn is gone as she puts more corn on the plate.

Visible crew/equipment: When the mother and daughter pull into the parking lot to go shopping at the mall the crane camera is reflected in the front passenger window after she opens the door.

Factual error: When Bobby turns his truck to beat up Jack you can see the license plate on the back of the truck, It is an Indiana plate, but the one used for passenger cars only. Indiana truck plates are plain white with blue numbers.
