Continuity: During the scene that Kevin Bacon is teaching his friend to dance in the flatlands of Texas, you can see the Rocky Mountains behind him. (The film was set in Texas, but filmed in American Fork, Utah). [Apparently it's actually set in Iowa - what's the landscape like there?][It's dead flat!]

Visible crew/equipment: In the sequence where the young are in the field to clear up the rules of "chicken game" (or something), you can see a part of a microphone above them.

Continuity: As Ren is dancing after the confrontation with his uncle we can see him dancing through the factory. He then does some gymnastics on a bar on the loft. If you look you can see that he is wearing gymnastics grips on his hands. Yet he did not have them on in the shot before, or in the shot afterwards.

Continuity: At the beginning when Ariel is standing between the cars Chuck pulls her in and tucks her head under his arm. When they are on the shoulder on the other side you can see her sit up, when they are back on the road she sits up again.

Continuity: In the scene where Ren does his dance at the warehouse when he is angry he gets out of the car with a cigarette in one hand. He slams the door with the other hand, but the next minute he drinks out of a bottle, which he had not previously been holding.

Continuity: In the scene where Ren is dancing in the warehouse, he takes off his sweatshirt on the second level and throws it at his feet. His beater-T is clean then. After he jumps back down to the first level, his beater-T is dirty. Then he goes through a door and slides down the staircase and his beater-T is clean again.

Visible crew/equipment: When Ariel is jumping from her car to the truck we catch a reflection of the "TRUCK" in the window of HER car. What we see is the rounded end of a silver vehicle. The truck has a flat bed.

Continuity: In the scene where Ren is playing chicken with Chuck on the tractors, the position of the sun repeatedly changes.
