Continuity: Near the end of the film, as Bette Midler, Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn sing their song, watch Goldie's shoes. For the first portion of the song, which takes place inside, she is wearing open-toed, spiked-heel shoes with multiple straps. Then, as they finish the song outside, she is wearing closed shoes with a much lower heel.

Continuity: In the scene where the three ladies are singing 'You Don't Own Me', they stand up and are putting their coats on. The shot changes from the front of them to the back, then you see Goldie Hawn's had get caught in Diane Keaton's coat sash. When the shot suddenly changes to the front again Goldie's hand is free.

Continuity: When Elisse, Annie and Brenda decide to make their own first wives club, Annie's glass of wine is almost empty, but when they throw their rings in it, it is almost full.

Continuity: Just after the funeral near the start of the film the three women go out to lunch. Goldie Hawn orders a vodka and when the waiter brings it she takes the glass in her hand. The next shot sees her picking it up from the table again.

Continuity: When they all are sitting down after the funeral, they order drinks. When the drinks arrive Goldie's drink is put down twice. Once when you are looking at her and once when you are looking from behind her.

Revealing: After Chris the daughter leaves a message on Annie's machine, the others call each other. Annie's voice is on the phone to talk to Brenda to Elise, but accidentally says her own (Annie's) name.

Continuity: When Shelley is having lunch with Maggie Smith, after Maggie Smith says to the maid, "get the fork," the salad plate switches between being in the maid's left and right hand between shots.

Continuity: At the big dinner party they have look out for the man with black hair, gray suit with a turtle neck. He appears in back to back to back scenes - one second he's walking across the room the next he is dancing and a mere second later he's outside smoking. Either he has a twin or he gets around quick.

Continuity: When everyone is in Morty and Shelly's penthouse, Duardo runs up to the office after he talks to Maggie Smith on the phone. When he runs in, the door closes behind him. In the next shot, however, the door is wide open.

Continuity: In the scene where everyone is arriving for the funeral Maggie Smith spots Goldie Hawn and puts out her right hand. In the next close-up shot of the two she raises her hand once again.

Continuity: At the end of the movie when the women are alone in the hall and singing, they are lip-singing to their recorded version. It's clearly the voices of the 3 women, but the music is out of sync with their lips.

Continuity: When Brenda sees Morton at the department store with Shelly, Morton gives her a blouse on a hanger and tells her to buy it and you see Brenda holding it with one hand. The camera angle changes and you now see her holding it with both hands.

Continuity: When Annie and Brenda are first talking to Uncle Carmine, Annie's hands go between being up by her face and down by her sides between shots.

Continuity: At the start of the movie, Cynthia hands the maid some letters. Here Cynthia is holding a glass. When she goes out to the balcony she is holding a cigarette as well as a glass.

Continuity: When they are talking about getting revenge on their ex-husbands, Bette stands up and starts talking. She puts her hands on her hips. Then in the next shot, they're not on her hips, but in the shot after that there they are again, back on her hips.

Continuity: The three women do parts of their "You Don't Own Me" act at two different points in the movie, both times supposedly doing the choreography they had worked out for Cynthia's birthday party, 25 years earlier. But the two instances differ in what Goldie Hawn and Bette Midler do right after the "Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba." The first time, they raise their hands over their heads. The second time, at the very end of the movie, they bend at the knees and put their hands together directly in front of Diane Keaton.
