Mistake Factual error: During the Thanksgiving sequence, all of the characters are outside in shirtsleeves. This is odd as by November, it is cold in Wisconsin.

Mistake Continuity: When Eddie first enters the chemistry classroom, you can see a "10" written on the blackboard behind the teacher, but a few minutes later, the teacher writes the "10" on the board.

Mistake Continuity: Eddie is trying to fix something, and oil starts spraying out of it all over him. In the next shot the oil is gone, then the next shot brings the oil back.

Mistake Continuity: When Paige goes to Denmark to find Eddie and she is in the crowd watching the Royal family the Queen is sitting on the right hand side of the carriage (facing the camera) but in later shots she is sitting on the left with the King now on the right.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Paige pours two beers for Eddie at the bar, the level of the beer and the amount of head on each beer changes from shot to shot.

Mistake Continuity: In the opening sequence where Paige is driving the truck, and her dress is caught in the door, in some shots, her dress is sticking out of the door, and in others, it is absent.

Mistake Factual error: When Paige goes to Denmark after the prince, she gets stuck in traffic because of a parade. Every single person in the parade is in a wrong uniform: the police officers on motorbikes, the police keeping back the onlookers, the military marching band, and the Hussars.

Mistake Factual error: In the opening scene from Copenhagen, the Prince's car does not have royal "krone" (crown) license plates, nor danish 2 letter plates, but an obscure 3 letter plate.

Mistake Factual error: One day the prince accompanies his father to a meeting to solve an upcoming worker strike. This should not be possible, since Denmark's constitutional monarchy has no influence on the workings of the government.

Mistake Factual error: The prince mentions a Danish king of the past called King Gustaf. This is an atrocious mistake. Never has there been a king of Denmark with this name. Many SWEDISH kings have been called Gustaf, but never a Danish. All the royal names in the film are very unrealistic. The names Edvard and Arabella would NEVER be used for Danish royalty. They are not even Danish names.
