Continuity: In the beginning of the movie, when Al (Freddie Prinze Jr) meets Imogen (Julia Stiles) She introduces herself as a freshman, and he introduces himself as a sophomore. the movie spans over the rest of the school year until she goes away for the summer. However, at the end of their first summer apart, Al is eating dinner with his dad and they are discussing his upcoming senior year and post-graduation plans. It should only be his junior year.
