Plot hole: Misty never saw the first Soul Dew in its proper place in the fountain because she wasn't with Ash when he saw it. But when Ash, Misty, Brock, Lorenzo, Bianca, and Latias go to put the new Soul Dew in the fountain Misty says, "It's perfect, just like the old one."
