Revealing: Just after they dump the tacks out of the window, the Russians' car flies up into the air in a really quite impressive car crash. Just before it flips over though, you can see the huge ramp put in front of it.

Continuity: When Elwood, Mac, and Buster arrive at the Monster Truck show to sing. We see Mac get out of the car. If you look carefully in the background you can see Elwood already going up to the stage. Then the camera switched to show Elwood getting out of the car.

Factual error: When Cable calls his mother in Phoenix from his desk in Chicago, he only dials seven digits, as if making a local call.

Revealing: In the big impressive car crash, it is quite clear that most of the cars are empty.

Factual error: At the Russian funeral, the priest mentions the deceased's name as Nicholas Tsusefskaya, and describes him as a young man. The surname, however, is female. (The correct male equivalent would be Tsusefsky.).

Continuity: During the escape from the "bluegrass" gig, Dan Aykroyd pulls out a remote control, fires up the car, and slowly turns the wheel to the left. We then see the car pulling out and slowly turning right.
