Audio problem: In the scene where Tyler is preventing Whoopi Goldberg from sitting down by asking her stupid questions, there is a part where Frankie says, "Oh you're gonna get jumped after school Tyler." When the word "Oh" is heard, his lips aren't moving.

Continuity: When Whoopi Goldberg is pushing herself along the walkway after she is stuck to the chair, you can see her move out of view on the camera angle. They then have the angle from in front of her, still pushing herself along the walkway. They then go back to the previous angle and she is back where she started from without rolling backwards.

Plot hole: Even though Rita left the choir early into rehearsal for the contest, and her mother took her music away to prevent her practising before she had learned it, she still manages to know the song by heart and the dance routine perfectly when she rejoins her friends last minute. She couldn't have perfected her performance in the time she had.

Audio problem: At the contest in Hollywood, when the priest pushes Mr. Crisp into the closet he says, "Forgive me," but his lips don't move.

Other: When the choir is just about to start the final song, with Rita already performing her introducing solo, the other kids get a message to change their clothes (to take their robes off). When Rita finishes her solo, we see the piano player with changed clothes too. It's not possible for him to take his robe off - the piano music never stops long enough for such an action.

Other: In the final moments of the film, the class gets ready to perform a song in a festival. At the beginning of the performance Rita is standing straight in the camera, and the piano player is at an angle to her left. When the class starts singing the piano player is at the classes right.

Continuity: When the sisters are counting the money after their charity concert, Sister Mary Clarence puts a bunch of singles on top of her legal pad right before she talks to Kathy Najimy. When the shot changes the singles are not on top of the pad anymore, but a little further up on the table.

Continuity: In the shot of Whoopi Goldberg after the class have put glue on her chair, she is looking through the door, and you can just see the bottom of the word 'ass' from 'music class', as the blind covers it. When she opens the door and walks in, you can see the entire 'music class'.

Continuity: When the kids first react to Delores scraping her nails on the blackboard, a girl near the front of the class, (later revealed as 'Maria') wearing sunglasses, is in the process of sitting in a chair. When Delores then asks them to put the desks back, she is now sitting on top of a different desk further to the right, is now holding a magazine and no longer wearing sunglasses. The short time elapsed makes it impossible for her to have moved.

Continuity: In the scene where Father Thomas tells the Sisters that Delores is a Las Vegas show girl, Sister Mary Robert puts her hands up to her face, but in the next shot she has her hands down by her side.

Continuity: When the children are told to take off their uniforms, one second they are on, the next second they are off. This is unrealistic based on the fact that if you listen to Rita singing her solo, it doesn't skip in time at all. In fact,the song plays at its normal place in time. Therefore the children could have never taken off their uniforms that quickly.
