The Warriors (1979) - 20 mistakes
Continuity: When the Warriors are back home and they step off the train, the woman who is with Swan has a pink top on and it is really dirty on the front, but when they go and find some weapons in the abandoned warehouse she has only got a small mark on the front the size of a hand, as she did earlier on in the film.
Continuity: In the subway station, when the Turnbull A.C.'s recognize the Warriors, they turn the bus around and begin a fierce chase. The distance shots of them chasing the Warriors do not match up. Several times the AC's appear to gain on the Warriors, and a few other times the Warriors are way ahead of the AC's just prior to escaping up the subway stairs.
Continuity: During the battle scene in the toilets, at least one member of the rival gang is seen being thrown through a latched toilet door. This means the door would have to have been locked from the inside. Earlier the warriors had emerged from these toilets, so they are not locked, unless during the battle someone went back in the toilets, locking the doors and climbing back out over the top. If the doors were not locked, surely they would just swing open if someone went through them.
Continuity: When the 'Punks' first come into the bathroom looking for the 'Warriors', there is a panning, establishing shot of the whole bathroom. All three of the big mirrors in the bathroom are already broken, and the only thing left of them is the dark-colored backing material hanging on the wall. As the fight breaks out, several of the gang members are subsequently thrown against now-unbroken mirrors, shattering them dramatically.
Visible crew/equipment: When the leader of the Riffs' finds out it wasn't the Warriors who killed Cyrus there is a focused shot on his face and his sunglasses reflect a crewmember wearing a white T-shirt next to what looks like a camera. It has to be a crewmember as no-one in that scene is wearing a white T-shirt.
Continuity: At the end of the movie when The Warriors are back home in Coney Island and ready to confront the gang that set them up, you can see the rides, boardwalk, surrounding apartments in the background. However when they take the gang down to the beach all of the background scenery that definitely would still be visible disappears. There is no way they are still on the beach in Coney Island.
Factual error: The Baseball Furies chase the Warriors for about 3 minutes non-stop through the park. Most of this time, the Furies and the Warriors are running as fast as they can, especially the main guy in the front closest to the Warriors. When Ajax and Cowboy of the Warriors finally decide to stop and fight, everybody running comes to a complete stop. The Baseball Furies gang member is not sweating and he's not even breathing hard. I don't know anybody, no matter how fit, who can sprint for 3 minutes and then not even breathe hard.
