During the scene where Meg is looking for Christine backstage, we see her pass Firmin and Andre. Behind her Raoul approaches the managers and they turn to greet him. In the next shot they are turned round flirting with the chorus girls and Raoul is nowhere to be seen. See more...

In the beginning, when the Phantom leads Christine down a passage, the moving arms holding candelabras are a tribute to Jean Cocteau's 'Beauty and the Beast,' filmed in 1946. See more...
Just before Raoul jumps down the hole after the Masquerade, Patrick Wilson is obviously replaced by a stuntman who's not even trying to hide his face. He is the same stuntman used for the Phantom in the graveyard swordfight.
