Marty: That's right, Doc. November 12, 1955.
Doc: Unbelievable, that old Biff could have chosen that particular date. It could mean that that point in time inherently contains some sort of cosmic significance. Almost as if it were the junction point for the entire space-time continuum. On the other hand, it could just be an amazing coincidence.
Mistakes
After Doc and Marty return to 1955 in an effort to steal the almanac back from Biff, they land the DeLorean. Doc says, "Here's some binoculars" then says "and" but watch his lips as he says "and", it just doesn't match. You could argue that it is a bad angle but even at the angle it's at, you get an OK view. See more...
Trivia
Vaguely interesting point - when Doc and Marty arrive back in 1955 to stop the handover of the Almanac, there are actually 4 versions of the same time machine in the area at that time. The one they've just arrived in from the alternate 1985, the one Marty arrived in from the original 1985 in the first film, the one Biff's arrived in from the future, and the one Doc's buried from 1885. Back to the Future Part II
Visible crew/equipment: As Doc and Marty go to the soon-to-be Lyon Estates in 1955, the DeLorean hovers over the camera. Look at the roof. You can see 3-4 wires attached to the time machine.
