Mistakes
When Harry and Hermione are back in time, Dumbledore, Fudge, the Executioner and Hagrid come out of Hagrids hut to execute Buckbeak and they find Buckbeak has gone. Then Dumbledore says "I don't think the minister's suggesting you had anything to do with this" and in the wideshot Dumbledore steps up onto the bottom step of the stairs leading to the hut, and stands right by Hagrid. Yet in the following closeup as Dumbledore says "How could you..." Dumbledore is now not on the bottom step, but standing on the path much further away from Hagrid. See more...
Trivia
During Hagrid’s Care of Magical Creatures lesson, just before Harry approaches Buckbeak in the paddock Beaky has a ‘potty accident.’ Manure is seen dropping from his hindquarters and can be heard thudding onto the ground. This is computer generated—the CGI artists were having a bit of fun and wanted to add a touch of realism. (Commentary on DVD 2) See more...
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Continuity: At Hagrid's, when HRH are there the first time in the film, there is a large birdcage, blue cup and saucer, watering can and small wood planter (with seedlings) on the windowsill. Later, when Hermione visibly throws the first stone, as the stone flies through the window the watering can and blue cup's positions differ and the wood planter and large birdcage are actually gone! When she throws the second stone they are back on the windowsill.
