When Cindy gets to Tom's house and Sue is calling for George, you see Sue and George walking away. You can see in the background that they have boarded up the windows. On one wall the window is blocked by planks, and the other wall has been totally covered with planks and there is sunlight coming through cracks in the planks all over.
