Mistakes
In the scene at the very end of the movie when Hermione and Harry are getting on the train, Hermione says, "Feels a bit strange going home, doesn't it?" Harry responds, "I'm not going home, not really." If you look closely, Harry says the words and his mouth moves. Then the camera changes angles and Harry mouths the same words once more, but no sound comes out. See more...
Trivia
The original title of the book, and subsequently the movie, is 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.' However, Scholastic, the American publisher of the book, decided to change it to 'Sorcerer' for the American publication. See more...
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Visible crew/equipment: During the Quidditch match Harry's broomstick tries to shake him off, due to the spell. After Hermione tells Ron, "Leave it to me," in Harry's last close-up before he flips over, the seat that is attached to the broomstick, to make it more comfortable for Dan Radcliffe to sit on, is entirely visible. Glimpses of other seats can be had during the match as well.
