Gimli: What is happening out there?
Legolas: Should I describe it to you? Or would you like me to find you a box?
Mistakes
Just after they've clashed with the Warg, while riding on Arod, Legolas lets loose his first arrow and hits a Warg in his face and it flips over. In this first shot, the background behind this Warg is the same background as in the very next shot. This first background shot is really the successive shot of this second background shot. The shot just after Gimli falls off his horse, is the third successive shot, only it's been flipped. The same men on horses are riding across the field in the background, as this was one piece of footage that was cut into three parts. Warg and riders were added to the image, to make them appear different and one was flipped. See more...
Trivia
Grima Wormtongue's eyes are not the same color, because he has a light blue contact in his right eye, and no contact over his left eye, which is a different shade of blue. He and the costume designers just thought he looked weirder with only one contact in. His eyebrows have also been shaved off. See more...
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Continuity: Faramir and his men capture Frodo and Sam, and Sam is thrown to the ground. In these shots, Sam's cloak is lying straight under him, as can be seen when he says, "Wait. We're innocent travelers." When one of Faramir's men grabs Sam's shirt to pull him up, his cloak is lying on the ground, up near his shoulder out to his right. Sam has not moved, Faramir's man had a blade to his throat.
