When Grant is trying to save the two grandchildren in the over-turned Jeep, the T-Rex returns and surprises them. Grant holds the girl and tells her not to move. The Rex then starts smelling around and blows Grant's hat off. In the original script, the T-Rex didn't save the people at the end. Grant shot one of the raptors and the other was killed when he got crushed under the dinosaur ribcage bone. Steven Spielberg thought the audience would hate him if he didn't bring in the T-Rex again. See more...

Continuity: At the badlands, when Hammond's chopper has landed and Grant goes to the trailer to open the door, if you watch the hinges of the door, they're on one side then it cuts to the inside of the trailer and the hinges are on the other side.
