Agent Smith: Thank you. But, as you well know appearances can be decieving, which brings me back to the reason why we're here. We are not here because we're free, we're here because we are not free. There is no escaping reason, no denying purpose, because as we both know, without purpose, we would not exist.

Mistakes
In the scene where Link unplugs Morpheus from the Matrix there is a close-up of Link with Morpheus opening his eyes at the bottom of the screen. In the following two shot, Morpheus still has his eyes closed and opens them up moments after he had already has awakened. See more...

Continuity: When Trinity is on the freeway and sees the motorbike truck from the bridge there are several cars either side of the truck travelling at the same speed. When they jump over,the top down view shows no cars and also the following shot from under the bridge shows no cars.
