Vaguely interesting point - when Doc and Marty arrive back in 1955 to stop the handover of the Almanac, there are actually 4 versions of the same time machine in the area at that time. The one they've just arrived in from the alternate 1985, the one Marty arrived in from the original 1985 in the first film, the one Biff's arrived in from the future, and the one Doc's buried from 1885. Continuity: If you look very closely, after Marty flips on the little girl's hover board and is laying on his stomach, when he goes to get up you can see that he's wearing regular lace style tennis shoes and not the auto-lace high tops that Doc gives him as soon as they get to 2015. You may need to pause it to see them.
