Still - S4-E12

Corrected entry: Beth's mic taped on under her shirt is visible after she and Daryl are attacked at the golf club. (00:19:50 - 00:42:30)

Correction: It's actually her necklace as you can see her necklace before the scene. It's not a mic.

Correction: Yes they do. She's strapped to Tyreese.

MasterOfAll

Correction: He gets hit twice.

Triggerfinger - S2-E9

Corrected entry: When Rick, Glenn, and Hershel are in the bar getting ready to leave and they see the headlights from the approaching car, Rick starts telling Carl to get down. Carl isn't even in the bar, and is back on the farm. (00:05:40)

Ethan Bivens

Correction: Rick says, "Car, car. Get down."

THGhost

Correction: Incorrect. While uncommon, RPGs are part of the US arsenal.

Correction: Robert Kirkman has stated that Rick was in his coma for 4-5 weeks, so around 35 days. In the short series "The Walking Dead: Webisodes" the one titled "The Oath" shows that a doctor named Gale Macones stayed after the outbreak, to care for patients still in the hospital. (Including Rick) IV bags last 24 hours, and you can only go without water for 4-5ish days. Meaning she left very close to when Rick woke up, which explains why his beard was in good shape.

You can go longer than 4 days. And even if she left 4 days earlier he wouldn't be clean-shaven.

Still - S4-E12

Corrected entry: After Daryl clubs the walker and gets blood all over Beth's shirt, she proceeds to take off her cardigan. As the next scene plays we see Beth front on and then a behind shot of her - the actress has her mobile phone in her back pocket.

Correction: That was her diary. The one she kept for updates on her post apocalyptic life.

Correction: At no point does she, or anyone else, say "Rick." She says "Glenn" twice.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Many times throughout this show, some zombies have been depicted as being burnt to a crisp with barely anything left, but still moving, or having been crushed or have their chests completely destroyed. Some even being that the head is the only thing left. Yet these zombies still growl, hiss and grunt. This is not possible without lungs attached to flow air through the throat and mouth.

Quantom X

Correction: This is typical in most zombie-lore and shouldn't be considered a mistake given every other aspect of what zombies are shown to do that would otherwise be impossible in real life.

Days Gone Bye - S1-E1

Corrected entry: After Rick falls off the horse in the city center, he drops the gun duffel bag close to him near him at the rear of the tank. In the closing scene, the last five seconds, there is an overview of the street and the tank. But the black duffel bag cannot be seen.

Correction: The black duffel can be seen at the rear of the tank. It is partially blocked by a walker getting to the horde where the horse is being eaten.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Michonne has dreadlocks. Dreadlocks are usually fake. They are attached to the scalp. They would have fallen out by now. If they were real, she would have to have taken them down by now.

Correction: There's no reason to think her character's deadlocks are fake (as in hair extensions). And most dreadlocks are natural, although a variety of ways can be used to create them.

Claimed - S4-E11

Corrected entry: As Michonne, Carl and Rick are walking over the railtracks you can see Carl carrying 2 bags arround his chest by 2 straps. First the black strap/bag is over the brown one, when the shot changes they stand still, the brown one is over the black one. Later on they are switched again. (00:41:40)

Tom Essers

Correction: I have watched this several times and the bags are always the same.

daveofthedead

Show generally

Corrected entry: While they are all in the prison all the toilets are ceramic or porcelain. In prisons it's a safety measure to use steel toilets so they cannot be broken and used as weapons.

Correction: While regulations of new prison may call for unbreakable toilets, real prisons have been built using porcelain toilets, especially older and outdated prisons. While the prison in the series does not exist in real life, nor is it named after a real prison, it is still meant to be an older prison. Sidenote: all the toilets in the prison are fake and made out of wax, not porcelain or ceramic.

After - S4-E9

Corrected entry: At the start of the episode Hershell is seen beheaded and Michone finishes him off - the only problem is Hershell was not beheaded by the Governor at the end of the last episode, and Hershell managed somehow to crawl away.

Correction: While in the mist of all the shooting and killing Tara's sister Lilly rolls up with a dead Megan in her arms, the governor takes her and shoots her in the head to prevent from her turning, then goes back and finishes off Hershel, decapitating him.

Correction: The governor then finishes the job. You even hear someone yell "he just chopped that guy's head off, with a sword!"

Show generally

Corrected entry: Throughout the entire series, the green hybrid that the group is driving changes branding. It often changes between Ford, to Toyota, and lately Hyundai from the recently acquired endorsement, all between scenes. Even going so far as changing 3 times in a single episode.

animemetalhead

Correction: It would be helpful if specific episodes and scene descriptions were provided, otherwise it is very difficult to confirm this.

Chupacabra - S2-E5

Corrected entry: After Rick, Lori, and Shane leave the sick room where injured Daryl is recuperating, Rick walks off and Shane tells Lori his only concern is for her and Carl's safety. As Lori responds to his statement, in a near whisper, she calls him 'Jon' (the actor's name) instead of his character name. (00:36:25)

Correction: I just watched this scene myself and at first it does sound like she says, "You've been abandoning us a lot, Jon." But then I turned on the subtitles. She actually says, "Even abandoning a lost child?".

THGhost

Guts - S1-E2

Corrected entry: Rick tells the Asian kid that the gun he has holds 15 bullets, but when Rick hops out of the tank and begins shooting, he only shoots 14 bullets and then the guns hammer locks back, showing that the chamber is empty.

Correction: He said how many bullets the gun holds, not how many are currently in the magazine. If he said there were currently 15 bullets in the magazine then your submission would be valid. But since he was talking about how many bullets it can hold, then your submission is not valid.

SAZOO1975

Season 8 generally

Corrected entry: In Season 6, it is revealed that Maggie is pregnant. In Season 8, she's not even showing, suggesting that not much time has passed, but in that time, Judith has grown from an infant into a toddler.

wizard_of_gore

Correction: The scene you are referring to with Judith as a toddler is a flash forward scene where Rick is an old man. At this point we don't know if it was a dream/Rick's imagination or an actual flash forward. Either way, that is not the current Judith.

ctown28

Guts - S1-E2

Corrected entry: When Rick is using the binoculars on top of the building to scout out the get-a-way trucks behind the fence for their escape, he is scanning over towards the trucks and fence line, seeing the walkers between them and the fence. In the far distance you can see the highway and a car driving over it, presumably an in-use road not closed for filming that still has people driving as usual in real-life. (00:23:20)

Correction: It is still early in the Apocalypse and people are still using cars and as you pointed out the group is going to use a car to get back to camp. In fact Rick and the group use cars for quite a few seasons, Daryl is still using his motorcycle In season 9. The fact that someone else is also driving is not a mistake.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Almost all of the assault rifles in the show are fully automatic. The Army does not use full auto assault rifles, and owning a full auto firearm is a pricey and difficult thing to do, so it's illogical to think they scavenged dozens of fully automatic AK, AR, and M16 rifles from a relatively small area. Also, all of their full auto M4 rifles are inaccurate since there's no such thing as a fully automatic M4. And the Governor's full auto Steyr AUG is a very rare rifle that nobody would leave just lying around.

Enstagriffin

Correction: The M4A1 is a fully automatic M4, visually identical. While the Steyr might be rare, it wouldn't be impossible to obtain.

Spend - S5-E14

Other mistake: Earlier in the season Father Gabriel Stokes burns his clerical collar, but in the end of this episode he is wearing it again. Especially doesn't make sense, because he said he gave up being a pastor.

I Ain't a Judas - S3-E11

Carol: haven't had a chance to say, I'm glad you came back.
Daryl: To what? All this?
Carol: This is our home.
Daryl: This is a tomb.
Carol: That's what T-Dog called it, thought he was right, until you found me. He's your brother, but he's not good for you. Don't let him bring you down. After all look how far you've come.

Question: Has there been any explanation (in-show or by show creators) about the inconsistency of what attracts Walkers? They've shown that people who cover themselves in Walker guts aren't detected or attacked. When it rained, the rain washed off the guts and then the Walkers do try to attack. But if people hide under cars or don't make noises, the Walkers don't detect them. But it's also been shown that people under a pile of "dead" walkers are still attacked. So what causes a Walker to attack?

Bishop73

Answer: Walkers are attracted to noise, they can tell who's dead and who isn't dead, in S1 when Rick and Glenn cover themselves in walkers' guts they're able to get far by walking through the herd of walkers because they smell like they're dead, but as soon as the guts get washed off by the rain the walkers immediately attack them, if you draw attention to yourself they will attack you which we've seen that many times throughout the series that it's not always successful. Whether you're covered in guts hiding under dead corpses or under a car.

Answer: Walkers use sight and sound to find their prey, with sound being their first choice. When the characters cover themselves in guts, they aren't attacking because they can't "see" them and they're not making any noise. The same goes for when they're hiding under cars - walkers can't hear or see them. They'll go for anything that makes a noise, regardless of what it is. It's also very likely that walkers don't have the ability to smell, since they can't find people hiding under cars. Nor can they smell the Whispers who walk amongst them.
