Mistakes
Near the end of the picture Al is racing to the airport and the toys give chase in the pizza truck. Spud jams the transmission into gear without using the clutch. (Hey, it's only a cartoon and Goyozas had great transmissions). The entire chase, however, would have been in first gear, but the engine runs at a normal speed. The truck bounces to a stop at the airport and then the engine stops. If they weren't using the clutch the truck and the engine would have stopped (stalled-out) at the same time. See more...
Trivia
On the ground of the planted area the toys walk through before they cross the highway is a rusty tin can. This can was the bug bar in A Bug's Life. See more...
When the characters are crossing the street to get to the toy store, Mr. Potato Head gets his foot stuck on some gum. From the first angle, the gum is at the half way point of the rolling cement drainage pipe. When he barely escapes, the gum is near the lip of the pipe, a foot or so from the end. As the gum sticks to the passing pipe, it appears to be half way between those two points.
