Mistakes
After Ed and Shaun make the plan to save everyone, we see the close-up shot of the TV where the announcer is saying that nobody to try and save their friends and family. If you look at Shaun, you see the handle end of the cricket bat in his right hand, and he is facing the TV screen. In the shots immediately before and after that, Shaun is not only turned away from the TV, but the handle is in his left hand. See more...
Trivia
Just as Shaun switches the TV off near the end of the film you can hear a reporter saying something like '...meanwhile, reports that the outbreak was caused by rage-infected monkeys have been described as bullsh*t-'. This is a jibe at Danny Boyle's film 28 Days Later - the creators of SOTD didn't appreciate the fact that in 28DL the zombies could run and move quickly. See more...
Shaun of the Dead
Continuity: After Ed kills his first zombie, there is a blood stain on the far right of his "I got wood" emblem which runs down the shirt. But when he is throwing objects at the two in the garden, this stain has somehow vanished.
