In the intro, before the main titles, the Professor informs the crew that he's booked them on the maiden voyage of the Titanic. Trivia
In the original ending for this episode (as seen in the DVD's deleted scenes), Bender says he'll be less like his old self when robot hell freezes over, to which Fry replies that it does freeze over during the winter. He reads this out of a book. In the aired ending, when Leela asks Bender to be less like his old self, he asks her if she could stand a 100' drop (or something), and Fry says "Good ol' Bender." Futurama - Love's Labors Lost in Space (S1 E4)
After Zapp Brannigan shows off his 'big book of war', he returns it to a pouch at the side of his chair. Two shots later there is no sign of the pouch or the book. Also, when he gets out of the chair, there are no buttons on the armrests, but when he returns to it later, there are two on each side.
