I echo (sp?) Rikki's comment about the messageboards not being used correctly.

This one for Twilight for example.
http://www.moviemistakes.com/discuss64

Or even this one for Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters
http://www.moviemistakes.com/discuss65

A waste and brings down the quality of the site overall. People abusing them. (I only found that one as i was going through all the discussions)

It's nice to be kept up to date Jon, Rolling Eyes

It's nice to be told of facebook connect, And to read the excelent blog posts regarding the next Movie banter podcast.

If you look at the most popular blog posts, not one of them is regarding movie banter.

Yes, it is indeed good to be kept up to date.

Sorry in a cranky mood right now

Just out of interest, you understand, I listened to (some of) one of those movie banter podcasts the other day. It was a complete crock! Why Jon thinks that a few of his friends sat around chatting (occasionally) about (mostly current) films is funny to anyone other than themselves is beyond me. Confused I found it dull and tedious (especially the female's laugh) and will not be listening to any more of them. So there. Humph. Evil or Very Mad Wink

I totally agree, I don't find it entertaining at all.

And now we get some nice adverts on the homepage. I'm starting to think that Mortug had the right idea. It's as if Jon doesn't care.

As far as the ad goes, I expect he's playing with the code and it's just slipped by. After all, that's one of the reason that justified implementing the paying membership originally.

That advert plays havoc in Firefox, all the options on the left side of the screen (Forum, membership etc), if you tried to click on them, would send you to the NBC site connected with the advert at the top of the page.

Sent an e-mail to Jon - has now been sorted. Advert has gone, right-hand column has been restored to its rightful place.

Coding error - one of those things...

Don't blame Humph, I have it on good authority he was no where near Jon when the podcasts were recorded! Razz

Heh heh! That's a given - he'd have had something much more interesting to say. Wink

I tried listening to one too. I used to listen to Mugglecast from Mugglenet.com back when, and I could barely sit through one of those. So I figured maybe webcasts just weren't my thing.

I listened to one of the first ones and thought it was okay but they went downhill.

Now i'm listening to episode 50 just for Saw VI's review, and i like the bit about a Brittish Saw
