In the next shot of Ross, the reflections on the TV screen show Joey is still sitting on the couch, and the camera and camera operator (wearing a dark shirt and raises an arm) behind the sofa. Continuity mistake: After the opening credits, when Joey and Phoebe enter Joey's apartment, note the poster hanging on the wall and some items on top of the fridge, as well as a few of the magnets on the fridge, change, move, vanish, or suddenly appear in the following shots. Examples: the wall poster moves closer to the door; the Chunky B. Wear magnet at the side of the fridge moves to the freezer door; a takeout menu suddenly appears on the fridge door; the red star magnet vanishes; etc. (00:03:00)

Continuity mistake: When Rachel tells Ross that she "kind of lost" Marcel it cuts to an exterior shot from the balcony, and if we look past Rachel and Ross we see there's a table against the wall, under the Maïna La Voyante poster, but that table does not exist in previous or following shots. Continuity mistake: When Phoebe realises she just met her dad she turns to her friends to share the news, and in the closeup she's holding a pair of 3D glasses in her right hand and Monica's holding a pair in her left hand, but in the next wideshot both of those glasses have vanished. (00:09:15)

Continuity mistake: When Chandler speeds up the timer for his turn he places the timer down at the right side of the pillow, but it's at the opposite side of the pillow when he lies down. Then before Monica starts giving Chandler his massage, she sets the timer and places it near the foot of the bed which we see in Chandler's closeup, but in the next shot when she says, "Say goodbye to sore muscles," oblivious to Chandler's pain, the timer is lying by the pillows behind her, near the head of the bed. Note, in the "uncut scene" version, Chandler grabs the timer to speed up his torture, and Monica takes it out of his hand thinking he was going to add more time, then she places the timer behind her. Continuity mistake: When Ross shows Chandler and Joey the can of "Carol's favorite beer" it's unopened as Ross makes a crack about how he "should have known," but in the next shot we see Ross lifting the can and drinking from it, even though he never actually pulled open the stay-tab between the two shots (viewed in widescreen). [In the extended version of the episode you see Ross open the can before taking a drink. In the standard version, the mistake is valid]. (00:09:55)

Visible crew/equipment: When Joey walks into the bathroom and starts whistling, the shadows of the camera and a passing crewmember can be seen on the door of Chandler's cubicle, then the camera's shadow moves as Joey walks toward Chandler and also when Joey's about to stand on the toilet.

Continuity mistake: When Ross asks Rachel to step into the hallway, we see the whipped cream atop the trifle dessert plates on the table, but while Joey gives everyone acting lessons all the whipped cream is gone, then the dollops of whipped cream reappear once again.
