Cellular (2004)

Chosen answer: His Nokia phone has a video recorder on it. He simply records the display on the camcorder with his phone.

XIII

But the video on his phone was too clear, not like he recorded the video on the camera but like he downloaded directed to the phone.

Answer: Even if he'd been able to copy the video onto his phone, we see him running through water under the pier. There would've been water damage to the phone, rendering it useless.

Titanic (1997)

Question: I read somewhere that during the scene where passengers are falling off the Titanic, the animators added a falling cow. Anyone know if there's any truth in it?

Phil Watts

Chosen answer: I've seen that movie a thousand times and I've never seen a cow or heard a rumour about a cow. Someone must be pulling your leg.

Finding Nemo (2003)

Finding Nemo mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Marlin and Coral check on the eggs in the nest, when they first look, no eggs can be seen at the mouth of the cave but a couple of shots later the eggs appear.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: The reason the eggs appear is that the camera may have moved downwards, thus closer to the eggs that would have been at the bottom of the hollow. If it was more upwards, as in the first shot, the eggs would have been below the camera's view.

Underworld (2003)

Chosen answer: According to the IMDB, the answer is yes. Both movies used the same two high school locations: Glenbrook North High School, Northbrook, Illinois; and Maine North High School, Des Plaines, Illinois. The director, John Hughes, directed both movies and decided to use the same school. He also uses the name Shermer for the name of the high school in Breakfast Club and for the name of the suburb in which the Bueller's live.

Question: This film is also known as ID4. What's the relevance in this (or am I missing something big)?

Phil Watts

Chosen answer: ID stands for Independence Day and in the US, Independence Day is on July 4th.

Factual error: When Handratty presses the emergency stop button at the printers, it causes paper to fly all over the place. Pressing the emergency stop would also stop the sheet feeder, and therefore stop the paper feeding through the press. (01:53:10)
