Christine (1983)

Factual error: When Arnie Cunningham visits Dennis Guilder in the hospital, Dennis does not have a back brace. Patients with broken backs are put in a back brace to immobilize the spine, serving the same purpose as a cast. (00:42:50)

10 to Midnight (1983)

Starsky & Hutch (2004)

Question: When Reese Feldman is on his yacht and shoots the guy for screwing up, he pulls a gun with a silencer out of a cooler. Why would you need a silencer in the middle of nowhere? (00:01:40)

Chosen answer: Feldman is the type of guy who wants to be as thorough as possible, as seen with his cocaine tasting like sugar and drug dogs being unable to smell it. He would not want any ships that could possibly be passing by to hear the shot.

Tower Heist (2011)

Mr. Destiny (1990)

Trivia: Ellen Robertson's dog is named Hercules. Hercules was the name of Arnold Schwarzenegger's character in his first movie, and Arnold also starred with Linda Hamilton (who played Ellen Robertson/Burrows) in The Terminator and Terminator 2. This was done again in Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines which had a scene with a cat named Hercules. (01:02:50 - 01:11:25)

Weird Science (1985)

Other mistake: When Chet is getting on everyone's case about everything that is wrong with the house, he says to Lisa, "I didn't think it was a whale's d__k, honey" in reference to the missile going through the house. The French subtitles has "bitte" to mean the portion of the male anatomy. The correct French word is "bite". "Bitte" means either "bite" or "bollard" in English. (01:14:10 - 01:16:10)

Continuity mistake: After Chad Feldheimer and Linda Litzke leave the Russian embassy and pull up to Hardbodies where they work, there are no numbers above the door. Right after they enter, the interior shots show 1665 backwards above both sets of doors. (00:48:50)

Trivia: When Abe Dale comes into a room (possibly a church?) where the children's choir is singing, the song is Rush's Spirit Of Radio.

The Jackal (1997)

Question: Why did the Jackal pick up Douglas at the gay bar? How did that fit into his plan?

Chosen answer: A couple of reasons. Douglas was a presidential aide, and could be giving Jackal information about the president and family's movements, even without meaning to. Secondly, he needed to be near DC to carry out the assassination attempt, and since the FBI et al were looking for him since they knew he had entered the States, having a place to live without having to go to a hotel where it is likely the staff would have been notified to be on the lookout for him gave him some anonymity.

Innerspace (1987)

Trivia: In the scene where Jack Putter's nightmare (about the overpriced items) becomes real while he's at work, a customer in line wearing glasses and a gray jacket says, "at $800 a bottle, who'd want to?". This was Chuck Jones. This is one of many references to "Looney Tunes"

Star Wars (1977)

Time Bandits (1981)

Question: Evil tells of his assistants, "tell me about computers". And he later says, "show me subscriber trunk dialing". Why does such a powerful entity have an interest in technology? (01:30:45 - 01:31:35)

Chosen answer: This technology may pose a threat, as a counter, to Evil's magic, or it could be used to enhance his own powers.

Phixius

Answer: Remember his whole speech about technology being his version of the universe, while the Supreme Being concentrated on nature?

Brian Katcher

Trivia: When Pee-wee walks into Mario's Magic Shop, there is an imperial stormtrooper helmet from Star Wars on the top shelf on the left. (00:14:25)
