The Wire (2002)

Misgivings - S4-E10

Corrected entry: Mayor-Elect Tommy Carcetti and Col. Cedric Daniels are at Carcetti's campaign office. On the wall is the political symbol of a donkey, which is for Democrats. Carcetti is a Republican, so the political symbol should have been an elephant. (00:43:57)

Snag.1

Correction: Where do you get the idea he was Republican? He was a Democrat and ran against Royce in the Democratic primary election. After that, he went on to win the general election against the Republican nominee.

Seinfeld (1990)

The Big Salad - S6-E2

Corrected entry: Elaine gives the stationary store salesman her telephone number as KL5-2390. The Seinfeld show was set during the 1990s, and the USA stopped using alphanumeric telephone numbers in the 1950s and 1960s. (00:01:33)

Snag.1

Correction: The US still uses alphanumeric phone numbers, especially toll-free numbers with words associated with the business, like lawyers. Elaine just gave her number in a weird way. KL5 - is just 555-.

The Commuter (2018)

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie, while in the house the sun is shining through the kitchen window. They get in the car to commute, and it's clear and dry. In the next scene they are in a pouring down rain shower, and when they show the car again it's dry and so is the road. However, when they reach the train station the ground and the driver side window are wet. (00:03:00 - 00:04:00)

Snag.1

Correction: A question regarding this was asked and answered. The opening scene isn't meant to be a continuous scene. It's a type of montage showing how Michael (Neeson) has the same routine everyday throughout the year or years.

The Commuter (2018)

Corrected entry: At the train station in the beginning of the movie it's a windy fall morning and the car windows have water droplets. The ground is damp, Liam Neeson gets out of the car with a blue overcoat and puts on a blue watch cap. In the next scene it's snowing and the ground and the parked cars are covered in snow, and he has on a green winter coat with a hood and a blue watch cap. (00:04:00)

Snag.1

Correction: A question regarding this was asked and answered. The opening scene isn't meant to be a continuous scene. It's a type of montage showing how Michael (Neeson) has the same routine everyday throughout the year or years. It's not just weather and clothes that are different.

Show generally

Corrected entry: S 46 / E 142: Kyle is texting Lola. He is asking how she is doing. Kyle is supposed to be a college graduate and business executive and he uses "all right" instead of "alright" in his text to her. (00:51:00)

Snag.1

Correction: "All right" is the correct usage.

Corrected entry: The USMC Corporal l on the vessel has expert rifle and pistol badge but no service ribbons. A corporal would have the basic service ribbons on his uniform, as Marines wear all ribbons to which they are entitled in service. (00:12:00)

Snag.1

Correction: Served on the USS Nimitz during the filming and actually escorted the actors around the ship while assigned to the Master at Arms force. The USMC Corporal, (who I knew) would not have earned any awards during this time frame. The National Defense Service Medal was not issued from the end of the Vietnam War (1974) until the start of the Gulf War. The Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal is not awarded until the honorable completion of three years of service and he had only two at this time. This was a period where Sailors and Marines were bare chested until they earned their Good Conduct, received a rare unit award or qualified for the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon which did not even exist until after the movie was released.

Corrected entry: The survivors and the dog were pulled from the ocean and flown back to the aircraft carrier. When they arrive on the aircraft carrier they are dry as if they were never in the water. (00:55:00)

Snag.1

Correction: The yacht is 130 miles from the carrier when detected so it would take the Sea King helicopter at least 3/4 of an hour at its maximum speed (168mph) to fly from the pickup site back to the carrier. In that time inside the helicopter they easily could have visibly dried.

Chicago P.D. (2014)

Rabbit Hole - S5-E10

Corrected entry: The DEA agent shows his DEA badge on his belt to Antonio and Hailey. However, the DEA badge shown is silver with the eagle's head pointing to the left. An actual DEA badge is gold and the eagle's head points to the right. (00:12:00)

Snag.1

Correction: All the DEA badges I've seen have the eagles head pointing to the left. And DEA Task Force agents have silver badges. Gold is Special Agent.

Unfaithful (2002)

Corrected entry: Constance's phone number (974 555 0703) is written down on a paper in Paul's apartment. The area code 974 does not exist in New York or the USA. In fact, the number 974 is the country code for Qatar. (01:23:00)

Snag.1

Correction: The area code is actually 914, which is the area code of Westchester county.

The Accountant (2016)

Corrected entry: During the fight in Dana's bathroom the Accountant does a tactical reload of his handgun after firing it. A tactical reload is a tactic to exchange a partial loaded magazine with a full magazine. The magazine that should have been the partial loaded from the weapon is empty in the accountant's hand. A trained person would have known the magazine in the weapon was empty and wouldn't have done a tactical reload. Plus, the slide on the weapon would have locked back indicating the magazine in the weapon was empty, not requiring a tactical reload.

Snag.1

Correction: A tactical reload is to keep the magazine; either because it has some ammo, or in this case to not leave forensic evidence behind. The slide only locks back when it tries to chamber a round from an empty magazine; when it chambers the last round (he knows, because he counted), it closes as normal.
