Lilo & Stitch (2002)

Trivia: The number A113 appears three times in this movie. First, when Stitch has recreated San Francisco, it is on a license plate. The second is the license plate of the gas truck Stitch drives at the end of the movie. The third time is the fire truck at the end of the movie that goes to Nani's house. A113 is often seen in animated movies as a reference to the classroom number used by graphic design and character animation students at the California Institute of the Arts.

Question: I don't see how killing Grievous could've ended the entire war. He was commander of the droid armies, yes, but what about the leaders of the Trade Federation, the Banking Clan, and the Commerce Guild? They could create more droids and simply promote someone else to Grievous' position. Don't you think the Jedi would've made destroying the Sepratists their highest priority?

Brad

Chosen answer: Grievous is a highly dangerous individual. Through his leadership, the droid armies are scoring a lot of victories they wouldn't have otherwise had. Added to that the fact that Grievous is hunting down and killing Jedi, and he becomes a high priority target for the republic. Get rid of him and the seperatists have lost their greatest general and a highly dangerous combatant.

The Core (2003)

Question: Why does General Purcell want Virgil to fail? It seems all he's trying to do is stop them from achieving their goal. He knows full well DESTINI stopped the core in the first place and is determined to fire it again with Virgil down there, knowing they will die. Why would he want Earth to die?

Brad

Chosen answer: The General does not want Virgil to fail. The main reason he wants to fire DESTINI is because they have just found out that the core is actually a lot thinner than they originally thought, which means, as Zimsky stated, the amount of explosives they brought in Virgil would not be enought for their original idea of one blast. Also stated by Zimsky, what happened with the core and DESTINI was just like a heart and an electric shock. If an electric shock can stop a heart and also restart a heart, then DESTINI has a chance of restarting what it stopped.
