Continuity mistake: When Spidey takes Cap's shield he uses his web on it, but when he lands on the car the web on the shield is gone.

Trivia: In Rey's force vision, before she sees R2-D2 and Luke's robot hand, she runs down a hallway - the same one from The Empire Strikes Back during the final lightsaber duel between Luke and Darth Vader. This sequence was originally going to be longer, with her seeing the duel itself from a new perspective (one of the reasons Darth Vader is one of the Force Awakens toys).

Trivia: A model of the tumbler from The Dark Knight trilogy is spray painted on the white hull of the Millennium Falcon, and mounted to its underside. This is because there was a friendly competition between JJ Abrams and Zack Snyder to see who could one-up the other by putting Batman/Superman references in Star Wars and vice versa.

Continuity mistake: When the truck crashes into the pillar that McClane and Matt are hiding behind in the tunnel, we see a large portion of the pillar fall off from the left side. However, when McClane gets up to drive the police car, the pillar is in perfect shape. (00:41:30)

Revealing mistake: When McClane goes into the icy room in the power station, look at the pipe to the side of the acrobat: it's in shot a few seconds and you can see that the writing on the pipe is reversed, revealing that in the editing room, the shot was flipped.

Trivia: Spider-Man creator Stan Lee makes his standard cameo appearance for this film when Spider-Man and Doc Ock are fighting on the side of the building. The first shot of the street during the fight shows a woman being pushed out of the way as some debris falls; the man pushing her is Lee.

Trivia: Stan Lee, who co-created the Hulk, and Lou Ferrigno, who played him in the 70's TV show, have cameos as a pair of security guards in the beginning of the film. Ferrigno later made another cameo as a security guard in the 2008 reboot.

Trivia: Stan Lee (Stanley Martin Lieber), the original creator of this comic book hero, has his usual cameo role in this movie. He's the guy who drinks the gamma contaminated soda from the fridge.

Trivia: At the festival when the Green Goblin throws his grenades, before the shot of Parker, you see Stan Lee (creator of Spider-Man). He was supposed to pick up the little girl that he pushes to safety, but due to his age, after several takes he said if they wanted him to pick her up, they were going to be there all day. Trivia: Director Bryan Singer (X-Men among others) makes a cameo appearance on the bridge of the Enterprise. He's a non-speaking extra. When the Reman boarding party has beamed aboard and Riker and Worf leaves the Bridge to take care of the boarding party Singer is the officer who takes over Worf's tactical station. In the audio commentary on the DVD release Nemesis director Stuart Baird points out Bryan Singer's appearance and continues 'apparently he's a big fan of Star Trek'. (01:23:25)

Trivia: There are brief cameos at the start of the film by Peter Jackson as Bad Santa, who stabs Nicholas, and Garth Jennings as the Crackhead who holds hostages. Later, Cate Blanchett appears as Janine, who is hidden behind a surgical mask, and from whom Nicholas is estranged. And the film's director, Edgar Wright, is seen as the store employee pushing the cart when Nicholas walks towards the manager's office.
