Contagion (2011)

Factual error: Shots are showed of different venues which you'd expect to be filled but are empty. Three shots are shown of an airport, the third a major international airport. In all three airport shots and especially the third, the airport is immaculate, the floors look like they were just waxed with a mirror shine, every item in its usual place. The previous shots shots, of Houses of Worship were realistic because things were in disarray, as you would expect. These places were abandoned rapidly and I'm sure there was no reason to have a cleaning crew come in right afterwards. But the airport shots look like that is exactly what happened, probably because in reality they were taken at about 3:30 AM, right after they had just be cleaned for the day. (01:10:10)

The Town (2010)

Factual error: The FBI, looking into prior bank robberies the group may have been involved in, look at a board that says Bank Boston dated 2008. In 1999 Bank Boston and Fleet Bank merged to form Fleet Boston, so there was no Bank Boston in 2008. As a matter of fact Fleet Boston didn't exist at the time of the film, 2010, as Bank of America absorbed it in 2005.

Suggested correction: No, they indicate that Dougie robs a BayBank with a nail gun.

City Hall (1996)

Factual error: We see John Cusack enter City Hall and turn right past the guard to meet Pacino, the Mayor in his office. In reality in New York's City Hall, the City Council occupies the right side of the building and the Mayor occupies the left side of the building.

The Sponge - S7-E9

Factual error: During the AIDS walk there is an officer seen several times with a patch "Transit Police, NYC." Not only is the patch completely fictional, it doesn't look anything like the real transit police logo. The Transit Police had already been defunct by the time of this episode.

City Hall (1996)

Factual error: The train when they go upstate NY has the colors of New Jersey transit, with the word New Jersey transit covered up with gray tape. Only Amtrak goes upstate New York.

City Hall (1996)

Factual error: Carousel was not playing on Broadway in 1996, when the movie is set. We see an outside shot of the Carousel marquee on Broadway with the mayor inside watching a full scale production. A U.S. National tour with a scaled-down production began in February 1996 in Houston and closed in May 1997 in Providence, Rhode Island.

City Hall (1996)

Revealing mistake: When Kevin shows the Mayor the Times editorial about the judge he quotes a phrase from the article about whether the man would be a judge if not a former law partner of the mayor. Unlike many newspaper articles shown in films where if you read the article text it is actually jibberish, here it is a legitimate article criticizing the way judges are elected, but some parts are repeated, and it states nothing about the judge being a former law partner of the mayor.

Casino (1995)

Character mistake: When the high roller Ikachawa returns to The Tangiers, Rothstein said he's betting $1,000 instead of his usual $30,000, so when he won, it didn't feel like he had won $10,000 (10 $1,000 bets), but felt like he lost $90,000, alluding to the fact that betting 1/30th of his normal bets made him feel even though he was winning $1k a hand he was missing out on the other $29k, or losing that. At ten hands won, at $1k/hand, he really would have felt like he was losing $290,000, not $90,000 as Rothstein says.

Continuity mistake: When Lecter is in the Memphis jail cell, trying to escape, there is a shot of him eating the face of Sgt. Pembry, and a nano-second later, you see Lecter trying to completely shove the jail door on him. No way these two events could have transpired so quickly. (01:15:50)
