Continuity mistake: When Sam and Dean enter the Shoemaker home, a woman leaning against a wall holding a coffee cup starts to follow them down the hall. When the shot changes, the woman is back against the wall, talking to someone who wasn't there in the previous shot.(00:08:00)
Trivia: The amnesia drug that Torchwood uses is called "Retcon," which is short for "retroactive continuity," a common occurrance in science fiction shows when a writer changes something about the established history of the series.
Trivia: Possible Spoiler: At the time of this writing, it is generally believed that the "Mister Saxon" referred to throughout Season 3 will turn out to be The Master. One piece of evidence backing this theory is The Master's penchant for anagrammatic aliases: Mister Saxon is an anagram of "Master No Six," and if it's true, John Simm would be the 6th actor to play The Master. [Russell T Davies (who wrote most of the episodes) has said that the anagram is pure coincidence which was picked up by some people, but was completely unintended. Still interesting regardless.]
Trivia: In "Human Nature", when John Smith (The Doctor's human identity) is talking about his parents, he says their names are Sydney and Verity. Sydney Newman was the creator of Doctor Who and Verity Lambert was the first producer.(00:30:00)
Trivia: Liane was the name of Trey Parker's ex-fiance who left him a month before their wedding, which explains a lot of the jokes about Cartman's mom.
Trivia: Packer's line "But that's not the way it happened!" right before cutting to the titles is an homage to the classic Star Trek episode "Court Martial." (Trey Parker says the line exactly the way Captain Kirk did.).
Revealing mistake: When the people in Hooverville are meeting around the campfire, it's raining. However, everyone's clothes and hats are completely dry.(00:28:05 - 00:28:45)
Factual error: In the 5th season episode "Lexmas," Chloe says she needs Clark to deliver the Daily Planet's Toys For Tots contribution because of a Teamsters' Strike. However, the Toys For Tots program is run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and collection and distribution is handled by Marines and Reserves. The Teamsters have nothing to do with it.
Other mistake: Playing Spain in this game gives you a bonus to attack Indian villages, however, actually attacking Indian villages lowers your overall score.
Trivia: The pocket Bible that Karl Malden carries in this episode is the same one he carried in the film "On The Waterfront." Everyone on the set that day came to touch this piece of film history. (Stated on the commentary track.)
Continuity mistake: When Ainsley Hayes and Lionel Tribbey are talking in her office, the bottled water moves from being to the right of the framed picture on her desk in the shots over her shoulder to being behind the picture in the shots of her desk from the front.(00:21:40 - 00:22:30)
Continuity mistake: When Sprague is practicing shooting for the second time, we see that Paladin has put up a new target with no holes in it. Sprague draws his revolver and fires three shots but the cut to the target shows 4 holes in the center. He then proceeds to fire the other 3 shots.(00:10:15)
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Bookman is leaving his apartment to get away from Death, there is a note tacked to the door that is about level with his head. In the next shot, he's out in the hallway locking his door and the note has moved up to about 6 inches above his head.(00:12:35)
Deliberate mistake: When Sharona spots Disher's personal ad in the newspaper, there is a shot of it. She then reads the description of him from the ad, which matches what's on the screen, however, the second part she reads, "Seeks petite blond with no-nonsense attitude, kids ok" is not in the ad shown.(00:22:20)
Continuity mistake: When McLeod is running to jump on the tourist boat, there is a barge docked behind it. When he lands on the boat, the barge is gone.(00:17:25)
Continuity mistake: When the police are taking Tessa to the safehouse and they spot Richie following on his motorcycle, the cop on the back tells Tessa to get down and pulls her down in the back seat. We then cut to a long shot of Richie following the car, and Tessa is sitting up on the passenger side. When the police pull over to arrest Richie, the cop in the back seat is again holding Tessa down.(00:34:30)
Continuity mistake: When the immortal who's trying to kill Tessa snipes at her in Duncan's car, his shot shatters the passenger-side window. When Duncan tails Tessa and her police escort to the safehouse, the passenger-side window is intact.(00:30:05 - 00:35:50)
