Sky High (2005)

Trivia: Check out the "Aquabats" poster in Will's room. The Aquabats are a band that sing silly songs, while dressed in super-hero outfits. They do this for their videos as well as on stage. A funny little nod to the fact that a super-hero kid would like a band that dresses as super-heroes.

Sky High (2005)

Deliberate mistake: Mr. Medulla said that Will stepped on his foot when he was walking to his desk. If you look closely you can notice that he stepped over his foot instead of on it.

Tombstone (1993)

Trivia: Val Kilmer can be seen at the Casino doing his famous "coin flip" trick over his knuckles, except using a poker chip in place of a coin. He does this once in almost every film he starred in during the 80's through the 90's. It's quite impressive, and something fun to look for in his movies.

Millennium (1989)

Continuity mistake: Sherman helps Louise put on her uniform from the back, but the zipper is in the front. When she turns around, no seams/zippers/etc. appear on the back of the uniform. This takes place just as she gets out of the shower.

Millennium (1989)

Continuity mistake: The first time Kris Kristofferson is listening to the cockpit recording, Louise interrupts him during the part where the crew is screaming that the crew "is all burned up" and so on. The next time she goes back in time to repeat the action, she interrupts him much earlier in the tape. This can't be, as explained by the Paradox Theory in the movie itself.

Millennium (1989)

Trivia: Much like the set of War of the Worlds, the set of this crash was so realistic, that airline pilots near Toronto were calling in a downed aircraft as they flew near it, unaware that it was staged for the filming of this movie.

War of the Worlds (2005)

Trivia: Unlike other films where old tanks are 'built up' to look like the tanks they represent, this film is the first film to feature real M1 Abrams on camera.

War of the Worlds (2005)

Trivia: The plane crash scene that was built for this film is now part of the back-lot tour at Universal Studios. Ironically, the plane had to be repainted after the movie, as it had the logo of a real airline company, and pilots flying overhead were calling in an airline crash for that airline.

The Fifth Element (1997)

Trivia: In the movie, the bizarre Divine Language that Leeloo speaks was invented by Milla Jovovich and director Luc Besson. Milla Jovovich is multi-lingual, and by the end of filming the movie, the two of them had learned to speak it fluently, even engaging in full conversations in the language.

The Fifth Element (1997)

Trivia: Interesting and fun to watch for: As a visual representation of their exact opposites, Zorg usually has a large circle behind him, whereas Korben usually has a large rectangle behind him during important scenes involving major decisions by their characters.

The Fifth Element (1997)

Trivia: The Diva Plavalaguna's name was used as an inside joke referencing Milla Jovovich's second film, "Return to Blue Lagoon" (plava laguna means "blue lagoon" in Serbo-Croatian).

Trivia: Just as in the first film, the end credits are crammed full of hidden jokes and miscellaneous one-liners.

Stand By Me (1986)

Trivia: The character of Ray Brauer is based on a real friend of Stephen King's who died in a motorcycle accident when he was about 20 years old. His name was Raymond Von Brauer, and his full name also appears in the Stephen King short story that this film is based on, titled: "The Body"

Citizen Kane (1941)

Trivia: This was the first motion picture to introduce "ceilings" into a shot of a scene taking place indoors from an actual set. Before this, due to the extreme lighting needed, the set was shot at angle that did not reveal that there was no ceiling on the set itself, otherwise it would have had to been shot indoors at a real location, which made for poor lighting that looked unrealistic. Orson Welles used a technique were a piece of thin cloth material was stretched over the top of the set which allowed the stage lighting to shine through, but appeared as a solid ceiling on film, further adding to the many other techniques used in this film to give the viewer a sense of realism.

Trivia: Harry Potter successfully battles a Troll in this movie. A character by the exact same name also does this in the 1986 movie "Troll".

Money Talks (1997)

Continuity mistake: Just before Frenchie has Franklin thrown from the helicopter, there is a shot of Franklin looking out the helicopter's open door. As they fly by the docks, they are considerably higher than a cruise ship at the dock. This giant ocean liner is about 15 decks (stories) high, but when Franklin jumps to the water, he falls a much shorter distance.
