Continuity mistake: When Sharon throws the picture frame at the wall and Six's face is cut, the camera angle quickly changes a few times showing Six alternately from the front and rear. But with each angle change, the location and position of her right hand is wildly different. Palm facing toward her face, then away from it, then closed fist with fingers near her cheek, then immediately arm down at her side, then back to fist at her cheek. (00:15:05)

Plot hole: When the Ferrari stops for fuel at night, Franco decides to spend the night with the girl in the Mercedes. His partner protests, then abandons Franco to continue the race. The next morning, the girl drives Franco to meet up with the Ferrari again. This is a coast-to-coast race, planned out in detail by each crew long before to take the shortest course at the highest speeds possible. First car to L.A. wins. It isn't possible for the Mercedes to just 'catch up' to the Ferrari the next morning unless the Ferrari was taking a wildly wandering course or driving incredibly slow for hours.

Revealing mistake: After Dualla shoots herself, Gaeta hobbles back into the room. While the effects people made sure his real lower leg was erased from view behind his upper leg, they forgot to remove the shadow of the lower leg being cast upon the steel floor. The shot then changes away and returns to find the shadow has now been fixed the second time we see it.

The Oath - S4-E13

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the 4th season episode "The Oath", Adama and Tigh choose to stay and fight rather than flee Galactica with Roslin. Apollo is not shown voicing any opposition to this. Yet in the next episode's opening, he is shown confronting his father, saying "No, Dad, you can't stay here". While this moment can be excused as having happened off-camera as the mutineers were shown approaching in the prior episode, it is the later show's narration which states "Previously on Battlestar Galactica" that is technically incorrect.

Continuity mistake: During the battle between John and Mary, a huge storm brews up above and around them. Shots of Ray having a meeting show this storm outside the window. But just before the office is torn open, a momentary close-up of Ray in the office shows a normal, late-day sunny sky, then the wall is ripped open and the gray/blue storm is there again.

Factual error: When Nick leaves from his home in New Jersey to play a gig with his band in New York City, an exterior shot shows his car traveling on the multi-lane ramp that serves the Lincoln Tunnel. On this ramp, vehicles must be heading into the tunnel toward NYC, or exiting the tunnel from NYC. Nick's car is shown arriving from NYC into New Jersey- the wrong direction.

Continuity mistake: When the tractor-trailer accident occurs during the chase, the two shots viewing the truck approaching the camera position have the red cab driving alongside the median and the trailer swung out to the driver's left, toward the road's shoulder. But when the film's heroes swerve to avoid the truck, the next shot showing their car crossing the median also shows the truck cab is at the shoulder with the trailer swung out toward the median- exactly the opposite of where it should be.

Factual error: The wheels on Gil's Camaro are modern custom wheels that did not exist in 1965 when the events took place. (00:24:10)

Factual error: The film depicts Kearns successfully demonstrating his invention to Ford engineers using a Lincoln Mark III, a model that debuted in late 1967 as a 1968 model. In reality, he demonstrated the wipers, was hired by Ford and then let go after six years. By 1971, he'd moved to Maryland. Simple math shows he was hired around 1965 - two years before the car he demonstrated with was built. Worse yet, his partner Gil was depicted driving a 1969 Camaro that same day. (00:20:00)

Factual error: In the opening chase, Hancock arrives, promptly destroying highway signage that breaks up and collapses. At left on the screen, a large portion of this debris lands on the trunk of a police car, which then defies physics by having its front end (the heavier end) simply rise up off the ground. The car reaches a 45-degree angle, then the rear end leaves the ground as well as the nose lowers again, and the car is momentarily airborne. Nothing falls in front of the car to form a ramp that would send the car upward. The debris would have merely crushed the back of the car and perhaps brought it to an abrupt halt. No lever/fulcrum action would occur as the suspension would collapse first. Nothing like what we see is remotely possible. (00:03:20)

Factual error: Despite the stunt looking really cool, the flipping of the tractor trailer simply would not have occurred as shown. Assuming Batman does exactly what we see regarding the cable, the truck would have just torn the cable out of the asphalt along with the lamp posts, barely being slowed by them. Ignoring this, if the cable's anchor held firm, the cable would more likely break. Failing that, the truck would simply, abruptly stop. But in no case is it capable of generating the force required to make the trailer rise up and turn with the entire rig over its own front end. Further, the tractor and trailer are not a single, rigid piece as shown. The two pieces would form a "V" while in the flip due to the trailer lagging behind the tractor as it rotates over. Once bent, the hitch would fail and the trailer would drop back on its wheels.

Continuity mistake: When Bryan rescues one girl from the construction site brothel, he steals a white Jeep Cherokee to escape. When his pursuers start shooting during the chase, a shot of the Jeep's rear shows both red tail light lenses are gone. But the very next shot showing the right side of the Jeep proves they are intact.

Continuity mistake: When the car comes to rest after turning over, there is enough space between it and the wall to drive another car of similar size through. But when we look down on the wreck from the overpass, there's no more than a foot of space. (00:03:00)

Visible crew/equipment: When the car crashes and flips at the start of the film, a catapult can be seen swinging under the car as it rolls over. This is what was used to get the rear end of the car airborne. (00:02:55)

Trivia: During the opening fight scene, Comedian throws a mug at his attacker, but misses. The mug strikes the numerals on his apartment door, knocking the '1' off. This turns 3001 into "300", the name of the director's previous hit film.

Revealing mistake: When Dr. Mahattan and Silk Spectre are on Mars and they are climbing upward in his gyrating clockwork structure, a shot from well above, behind and to the right of them contains some terrible CGI work of Silk Spectre walking in a completely unnatural, very mechanical way.

Continuity mistake: During the prison fight scene, Silk Spectre's stiletto boot heels are alternatively flat-soled from shot to shot, for the stunt woman's benefit.

Factual error: When Harvey sets up his very obvious "SOAP box" and gives his first speech, modern vehicles can be seen parked along the curb behind him, most obviously the small US Postal van and UPS truck. A little later, a 2000s era black SUV is at the curb when Harvey steps out of his camera shop.

Continuity mistake: When the chase ends with the big crash, Mike's car rests roadside with the driver's door still attached and fully closed. But as the girls walk over, the door is disconnected from the car and resting against the fender. Mike is seriously injured, slumped down and hanging out of the doorway, crying out in the pain. Obviously he hasn't gotten out, detached the door and returned to his seat.
