Continuity mistake: When Wilson shouts 'Jailbait' in his office, he is standing at his desk, reaching for a glass with his right hand and holding a yellow note in his left. The camera angle reverses and instantly he is halfway into his chair and holding the yellow note in his right hand. (00:46:45)

Factual error: During the Vegas hot tub scene (subtitled as taking place on April 6, 1980) near the start of the film, a man and woman discuss a TV show proposal. The woman mentions it will be like 'Falcon Crest', a show that won't begin airing until December 4, 1981. (00:03:10)

Continuity mistake: Gust takes a bite of an English muffin. As soon as it is at his mouth, there is a quick shot of a guy behind him on the phone. The next shot shows Gust has a coffee mug, not the muffin, in hand and too little time has passed to make that switch. (00:44:15)

Nightmares (1983)

Continuity mistake: As the truck emerges from underground, it lands tearing off the front bumper. The scene cuts away for a moment, and we then see the truck turning around to face the camera, bumper intact. (01:00:10)

The Car (1977)

Visible crew/equipment: When 'The Car' catches the truck, it tries to shove it off the road. The 3rd attempt happens as the Car gets very close to the camera, then veers across the screen, our left to right. The clear shadows of several crew members aboard the camera truck are visible on the front of the Car. (01:24:50)

Nightmares (1983)

Continuity mistake: As Frank drives away from the church, we see the two tail lights are square. The scene fades to show the car stopped and it now has four round tail lights. The first is a 1970 Chevelle while the second is a 1971-72 model, and the cars are used interchangeably from scene to scene. (00:52:35)

Nightmares (1983)

Continuity mistake: The first time the truck attacks, the car suffers a flat. As the truck returns again, Frank is forced to drive off, leaving the front/left wheelcover behind. Moments later the cover is back in place. (00:57:30)

Nightmares (1983)

Continuity mistake: When the truck rams the car, causing the car to flip over, the car comes to rest with the trunk securely closed. The camera angle changes and instantly, the trunk lid is hanging fully open and all Frank's belongings are strewn about the road. (01:01:20)

Nightmares (1983)

Visible crew/equipment: As the priest is loading his luggage in the car, a large light is reflected in the quarter panel. It is not the sun, as that is ahead to our right while the light is behind us to the left. (00:51:20)

The Car (1977)

Continuity mistake: When the teacher stands and challenges 'The Car' in the cemetery, the gates cast their shadows to our left. When the car reacts, beginning to do 'doughnuts' in the dirt, the shadows fall to our right. (00:47:30)

Blue Thunder (1983)

Continuity mistake: As the Chevrolet Vega arrives at the TV studio, the roof is shown to have sustained significant damage, as if something huge has fallen on it. The right headlamp area is also smashed and the light gone. But at no time in the chase does anything occur to cause any of this damage. (01:27:50)

Ronin (1998)

Revealing mistake: At the start of the chase, the Mercedes slides around a bit, and it is comically obvious that the tire smoke has been poorly painted onto the scene. (00:45:15)

The Seven-Ups (1973)

Factual error: The Greyhound bus involved late in the chase is heading northbound on the Palisades Parkway in New Jersey, heading away from New York City (which the sign above the windshield indicates is its destination). (01:01:20)

The Seven-Ups (1973)

Revealing mistake: After the blue sedan turns left, away from Central Park, a long sequence of small 'leaps' begins for both cars as they go through intersections along one long street. Our view changes from inside the sedan, to outside it, inside the coupe, and outside it, back and forth repeatedly. It is painfully obvious this sequence was artificially extended by randomizing the various camera angles, all showing the same few seconds of time, over and over. The best evidence is the red 1973 Lemans that is passed again and again and again. (00:57:35)

The Seven-Ups (1973)

Continuity mistake: When the silver coupe turns onto the street where the children are playing, the street is in full sun. But as the kids react, they see the car approaching, now in shadow. (00:56:30)

The Seven-Ups (1973)

Factual error: Scheider is honking the car's horn during the chase, but a close-up shows him pushing on the top of the outer rim of the steering wheel, while the horn switch is actually part of the center pad. (00:55:10)

The Seven-Ups (1973)

Continuity mistake: As the blue sedan turns onto the street where the children are playing, the street is entirely in shade. But after the children begin reacting, the car approaches in full sunlight. (00:56:20)

The Seven-Ups (1973)

Revealing mistake: During the car chase sequence, the same white 1965 Rambler American (with bent drivers/front fender) is seen repeatedly getting 'in the way'. (00:54:20 - 00:56:15)

The Seven-Ups (1973)

Audio problem: Despite the fact that Scheider's character is driving a Pontiac Ventura with an automatic transmission (note the floor pedals), the sound we hear is of a four-speed manual car being 'double-clutched' (reused sound from the Mustang GT in the film 'Bullitt'). (00:55:30)
