To their left is the bag with the remaining bats, the bag at first has the appearance that there is the strong outline of a bat or a bat behind the bag, yet when Joe goes to retrieve another bat the bag is loose and in an entirely different shape. Revealing mistake: When Bill Murray and Harold Ramis are whipped into the rope snare traps there are huge gaps in the ropes between Harold Ramis' feet that would make it impossible for the trap to secure him.

Continuity mistake: Right after the dog eats the cue ball that Gus throws at it the camera cuts back to a stunned Gus, when it cuts back to the dog there is no sign at all he ate the pool ball. Not a crumb, his tongue, jowls and mouth are spotless.

Continuity mistake: When Ann and Kong are on top of the Empire State Building near the very end, he sets her down on top as he grows weaker. She begins to stand, pulling herself up on his fingers, the shot cuts and she is standing but his hand is now out of place back towards his body, not near Ann where it should be.

Continuity mistake: In the scene when Bethany is in bed, right before the Metatron arrives her phone is on the hook. Right after he turns her bat into a fish it is off the hook even though she was never in a position to even accidentally knock it off the hook. (00:14:40)

Continuity mistake: The bruise on Chuck's left cheek, sustained while being beaten by the thugs, is visible while being booked by the police and when placed in the cell but vanishes moments later when Charlotte arrives and spits on his face. Continuity mistake: After Chuck breaks the liquor decanter and the desk appears free of broken glass Bill says, "Chuck you've got to keep that elbow stiff." When the camera cuts back to Chuck the entire desk appears as it was pre-fight with nothing disturbed, including a now complete and unbroken liquor decanter half filled with liquid. (01:30:40)

Continuity mistake: When Chuck breaks the liquor decanter in the lawyer's office, glass fragments shatter all over the desk but in the next shot the desk is clean with no broken glass. (01:30:30)

Continuity mistake: When Bill and Chuck are riding in Bill's new ride and the camera is looking in through the windshield there are some items on the dashboard, notably a green box just off-center on the driver's side. When the view switches perspective from inside the car looking out the green box is now on the passenger side, but it is not a reversal of the film because the lanes of traffic are still correct. Continuity mistake: When Belinda first sets out the breakfast foods onto the stove top, she then fusses with the window and decides to remove her robe and the camera briefly cuts to Chuck. When the camera comes back to the kitchen, the food on top of the stove has changed position dramatically. (00:36:55)

Continuity mistake: When Chuck prepares a glass of Alka Seltzer at his desk it is half full, just a Bill enters he takes a large, long drink and sets the glass down and you can see he drank at least half of what was in the glass. Revealing mistake: In the scene where Chuck finds Bill in the morgue vault listening to the recording of Chuck telling him to shut up, take note of Bill's thumb on the rewind button of the tape recorder. You can hear the tape recorder rewinding to replay the words, "Chuck to remind Bill to SHUT UP" multiple times but Bill's thumb does not move at all until he turns the recorder off. (00:30:00)

Continuity mistake: When Chuck is at his desk and he hears Bill outside his office singing "Jumpin' Jack Flash" the swinging silver pendulum balls on his desk are all in movement. Yet just fifteen seconds later when Bill arrives they are at a complete standstill. Not enough time has passed for them to have lost their momentum completely. (00:14:25)

Continuity mistake: The position of the pin in Franklin's tie changes from lower to higher during the time it takes him to run up the stairs and enter his apartment. As he is literally running for his life, he certainly did not adjust it himself. (00:02:35)

Continuity mistake: After the shootout at Maggie's house and her son is shot, Levoi carries the boy to his car. After he places him in the car, take note of the large circle shaped blood stain on the right side of Levoi's shirt, it is no longer there once they arrive at the clinic. (00:48:00)

Visible crew/equipment: When Levoi is visiting Maggie and Grandma at their home he is seated at the table talking with Maggie and she brings him a stack of files. There is a framed drawing on the wall behind Maggie with an American flag in it, right before the scene ends you can see the boom mic reflected in the upper left of the glass. (00:46:10)

Continuity mistake: When Levoi and Crowhorse visit Grandpa for the first time note the white and black beaded belt on the table behind Grandpa. In the beginning it hangs at the edge just at the first black stripe. Just after Grandpa trades Levoi for his glasses and hands him the rock, the belt now hangs nearly to the second black stripe. After that cut the belt now hangs in its original position. (00:37:30 - 00:38:30)

Continuity mistake: When Levoi and Coutelle come upon the first G.O.O.N. roadblock the GOONs are emptying the contents from a station wagon. Note the two blue suitcases in the rear, first they are in the station wagon, then tossed open on the ground, then one is back in the station wagon again, while the second is no longer seen at all. Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, when the two boys are playing basketball below Franklin's apartment, note the boy in the blue and white jacket. His red and white scarf is knotted off to one side nearly below his ear and then changes to below his chin between cuts. (00:03:00)
