Continuity mistake: After the Christmas party and the fireworks blowing up, Swofford is seen sitting at a table drinking Crystal Geyser spring water and talking to Jamie Foxx. Between shots the front of the bottle keeps moving to continually show the Crystal Geyser logo facing the camera for perfect product placement.

Continuity mistake: Towards the middle of the film, Matt is doused with water from a girl he's trying to hit on. The water pattern changes between shots on his shirt. In one scene his right shoulder and part of his chest is wet; then his entire shirt is wet; then back to the shoulder being wet. (00:17:30)

Continuity mistake: When Edie is serving dinner, she puts a spoonful of corn onto the daughter's plate, but when Tom enters the kitchen the previous serving of corn is gone as she puts more corn on the plate.

Continuity mistake: When Tim drives up to his old house for the first time as an adult, there is someone sitting on the porch appearing to be knitting. When he starts to climb the stairs that person is now gone. You have to go slow, frame by frame, to see the person who is there about 2-3 seconds. (00:26:10)
